I like that everyone is bringing up the quick bubble screens and short passes that he has been using all year. Against lesser opponents you can run these all days but not against the better college Ds and definitely not against NFL Ds. Once you take away those plays from his aresenal and make him go to the intermediate and long throws his game suffers. Add on his issues under pressure and the fact the aforementioned routes take time to develop and our Oline play this year it just wouldn't work

In Carr's evaluation I just count those as handoffs honestly. That's their run game (6 actual handoffs!) and it's just the fault of the outmatched playcalling.. It doesn't mean a thing to me when judging how Carr's skill set will translate to the NFL.

i might have missed something but bradey's college career was filled with a coaching staff that refused to make him the starter for the majority of his college career and put him in when they needed help.

I honestly don't see the hype with Carr. I hope today's game opened ur eyes. Most of the time it's short passes or screens that turns into big plays, if we take him at 3 or 4 it's gonna be jus like his brother a top pick QB that BUSTS, smh. I hate wen people make decisions off of stats and YouTube highlights, watch full game tape on the guy, nothing special at all I have him ranked 5th in QBs goin into the draft. We aren't gonna gamble a top 5 pick on a guy like that, trust me

Guys, can we not compare EVERY QB prospects who were overlooked in college to Brady?  Brady is one of those "Cinderella" stories in sport, meaning that it almost never going to happen again. 

Sir, Tony Romo? I feel like it happens more often than people think. It's just when a team invests in a QB early it closes the door for later found QB s because the first rounder is such an investment he can't be a bust.

I would agree but the fact that a lot of his accuracy from throwing the ball down field stems from these plays because they run them so much that it leaves their WE wide open. No way does an nfl team run these plays that much and establish anything. DBs at the next level are too disciplined. If that was the case we'd have just let Blaine run his college offense and he probably would have been fine.

and both those teams suck from a defensive standpoint. Fresno put up lke 40+ points all year and just outscored people to win. They just couldn't outscore the other team this time.
