The Jags weren't carried by the local CBS station here today, presumably because they're unprecedentedly godawful. It was liberating. I spread out on the couch, powered up the DVR, caught up on a few shows I've been neglecting and had myself an ice cream sundae without it being a Gus joke.

I'm a fan, so I watch, but I'm miles from excited. I basically grab a drink, sit down, and wait to see how we're going to lose.


2017 is going to be a key year. If certain things don't happen, I'll walk away and be done. If they do, I'll have renewed excitement again.


Four more weeks of watching the Gus Bradley era in Jacksonville.


Complete apathy... that's all there is at this point.

Real Jags fans don't give the NFL the ratings and ad revenue from watching a game, when the NFL will continue to allow refs to so blatantly interject themselves into games to take away one team's chances to win. My choice not to watch was based solely on protesting the NFL's refereeing.

 

The fact that I didn't have to watch the Jags "play" (I'm not sure you can really call what they're doing out there playing football) was only a bonus.
