Jackson is not a NT. He is a pass rushing 4-3 DT/3-4 DE. He is used mainly to rush the passer. Nose Tackles are used mainly as run stuffers.

 

I still don't know exactly what position would be best for Peppers in the NFL.

Malik Jackson didn't play NT in the 3-4, he played at DE.

Denver's NT was/is Sylvester Williams. Any fan of the Broncos would know that.

I always knew it. I said we drafted DTs and therefore don't need to draft a NT for that position. You might want to read my entire post next time.

Can you re-read the second sentence of my last post and decide if I'm actually ignoring anything? Also, I'd still like to know why you included Malik in your case for your argument about not drafting a NT if you already "knew" he wasn't a NT.

In a 4-3 defense, most people have a NT on one side and a 3 Technique (pass rushing DT on the other.) Jackson plays the 3 technique position, not NT.

Although she's not ready to admit her honest mistake, I think it's clear that she already knows that she erred in referencing Malik in her "no need to draft a NT" post.  The new and revised MJF argument is to point to all of those obvious and multiple NT's we drafted in April, which I'm supposedly ignoring and she's yet to list.

My original question was about Jabrill Peppers. People need to stop criticizing me over and over about the same mistake and answer it. If you don't, I am done with this thread because that is not the topic.

 

So, what other position besides NT would you want Jabrill Peppers to play?

I think Peppers will have to play safety in the NFL. Too small to play LB at this level imo


I expect the Jags to re-sign Cyp so Peppers would have no position if indeed they do
