Who are your "draft crushes"?

Quote:I think Peppers will have to play safety in the NFL. Too small to play LB at this level imo

I expect the Jags to re-sign Cyp so Peppers would have no position if indeed they do

So why did you suggest he should play NT?

Someone did. Whoever said that was lying.

Quote:My original question was about Jabrill Peppers. People need to stop criticizing me over and over about the same mistake and answer it. If you don't, I am done with this thread because that is not the topic.

So, what other position besides NT would you want Jabrill Peppers to play?

Your original question was what position should we draft Peppers to play.  Which is a legitimate question.  My answer would be safety.  Anyway, someone indicated they'd rather we draft a nose tackle and you said "we don't need one"........then, you listed Malik Jackson and the multiple DT's we drafted in April as the reasons that we don't need one.

As I said, I think you now know that you erred in your Malik example, and perhaps you now also realize that we didn't draft multiple DT's in April.  Right? Why don't you simply own up to your honest mistake(s), which we all make, so that you can move on to your discussion regarding Peppers?

Quote:Jalen Hurd said he is transferring to another school, because he no longer wants to be a RB. He wants to go to a school that will let him switch positions.

In the NFL he would play an H back type role. Move him all over the offense.

Takk McKinley will likely be a top 10 pick after the combine. He might just be the best EDGE rusher in the class.

Apart from out wide, as a TE or a blocker.

Penn State's Mike Gesicki is another guy I like that may or may not come out early.

He as all the raw tools to be a stud TE and flashes big time plays every now and then.

I will wait until he announces his draft intentions.

I hope he does declare. He could be the answer to our NT problem.

You just want to keep picking on me for the same bad post, right? There is no reason in the world to think doing so is funny or will change anything.

This whole TE class is great overall. Won't be too hard to replace Julius if we try.

He's got the production in spades, but I am worried he is going to underwhelm athletically.

I mean he would likely be lined up at WR, TE, and RB. He has the size and speed and he did it some in college already. He would grow into that role as he's raw as a route runner.

In terms of blocking its not going to be his primary role but as a RB he can block just fine.

Drafting a TE just because he is good does not make any sense. We already have good replacements for Julius Thomas if necessary. And there have been no signs from the team he will be cut.

going off the type he looks like the most athletic edge rusher in this draft.

Edge rusher is not a need for us in the 2017 draft.
