Quote:Personally, I have the potential RB's in this order. Don't ask me about Dalvin Cook, because he's not on my draft board. When you torture puppies for fun, there is something seriously wrong with you and I would never add that element to my team. It's just my own personal opinion.

1. D'Onta Foreman, Texas
2. Leonard Fournette, LSU
3. Royce Freeman, Oregon
4. Samaje Perine, Oklahoma
5. Nick Chubb, Georgia
6. Brian Hill, Wyoming
7. Elijah Hood, North Carolina
8. Jeremy McNichols, Boise State
9. Alvin Kamara, Tennessee
10. Corey Clement, Wisconsin

If we ended up with one of the top 4 guys on my list, I'd be happy. If we ended up with a guy on the lower end of my list, I'd be cautiously optimistic. If we ended up with no one from this list, I'd expect more of what we've seen in 2016. Consistently inconsistent.
Nick Chubb & Alvin Kamara over Donta Foreman. Foreman would have rushed just half his totally career yards if he played in the SEC.

I have been saying it for years: People love to overrate the SEC no matter what and need to stop doing that.

Guess what? People finally did shut up about the SEC being head and shoulders better than any other conference this season.

Pure speculation on your part. You have nothing to back that up.

Why do people still overrate the SEC?

Kamara isn't as good as Foreman, but relative to draft position me will probably be my favorite RB in this class. Don't want a RB in the first or second rounds.

Joe Mixon is the 3rd best running back in this class. Has some pretty bad domestic violence stuff from a while ago but apparently teams don't mind too much about it.

The second round is when we should draft a running back if there is one valued at our pick number (in the high 30s).

He's eligible for this year if he wants.

I didn't know that, but even if he is, he'd be off my board. Apparently there is video of him hitting some woman. On top of that being awful and enough reason for me to exclude him, with a video of the incident floating around, it would be a P.R. nightmare.

Apparently? I guess you don't know for sure if such a video exists or not.

Here is the article I just read on the subject. According to this, there is a video.

Oklahoma Supreme Court rules tape of OU RB punching woman must be released

Joe Mixon missed the 2014 season after the punch.

The public has a right to see the surveillance tape of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon punching a woman in the summer of 2014 according to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.

The court ruled Tuesday the video, which hasn’t been released, must be available to the public. Mixon was suspended for the 2014 season after the incident, which left the woman with reported facial fractures.

The city of Norman, Okla., has sought to keep open-records laws from being applicable to the video.

The right to view the tape made it to the Supreme Court following a suit by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. The association has contended that since it has to do with Mixon’s arrest on misdemeanor assault charges, the tape is part of the public record.

It’s unclear, however, if the video will be immediately released. One Norman city official said an appeal for a re-hearing of the ruling remains possible, which could delay release of the video until at least January 2017.

Mixon reached a plea deal regarding the misdemeanor assault charges from the incident.

The tape was shown to a group of media members in 2014 and below is what Sooner Scoop, one of the outlets granted a viewing, said about it. Mixon and the woman, an OU student, were in an argument in a Pickleman’s Cafe in Norman when the confrontation became physical.

Following the slap across the left side of his neck (she can barely reach his face), Mixon unloads a violent right handed hook. There’s really not a nice or clean way of saying it. [Amelia] Molitor immediately falls to the floor from the strike, hitting her face on the edge of the table in the process. Mixon immediately bolts out of frame.

Mixon was reinstated to the team in 2015 but refused to answer “non-football” questions at the Sooners’ Orange Bowl media day appearance last December because of the possibility of a civil suit. Molitor filed a civil suit vs. Mixon over the summer seeking damages from the punch.

The redshirt sophomore running back has been a potent weapon for Oklahoma’s offensive attack. After rushing for 753 yards and seven scores in 2015, Mixon has 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns in 2016. He also has 32 catches for 449 yards and five touchdowns and also scored via a kickoff return this season.

They were improperly stored/housed(for lack of a better word)

They were chained up and the chains were choking them and not allowing them to move, and they were left out in the rain. Obviously not cool, but to change that into "torturing puppies for fun" is hugely inaccurate.

That is an offense worthy of calling Animal Control. of the county humane society. What they would do is get the police department involved
