Well said, and agreed on everything. We have no pass rush, our defense fails to rise up when it matters most.


And we never cause turnovers, i think our secondary will never get a int again.

While true they do get pressure from the LB spots.  So traditionally speaking n0ot much sides Yannick.  However, if ya add Smith and Poz to the mix.  It isn't that bad.   

 

And Ramsey was never known for int.  He is cover wait for the ball and deflect guy. Though highly recommended by Dion.  Will never be Sanders.

Watching the teams outside of our division dominate in other teams, I realize how much a blown opportunity the improvements to our defense have been this year.  We are so close despite the deficiency at Head Coach and QB.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

This defense gives up untimely big plays on numerous occasions, and judging the unit by its statistical rankings would be a huge mistake by our new FO and coaching staff IMO. the Dline is old and overpaid, and imo the 2nd or 3rd weakest area on the team. I think the linebackers are decent but overrated. I think Cyprien is average, maybe above average on his good days. I think Gipson is extremely overrated. Really think Amukamara and Ramsey make a solid pair, but there's major holes on every level of the D as far as I'm concerned, and that's without considering the fact I think offensive line is 100000% the weakest position on the team.

 

 

Seeing how the Jaguars lack a dominant pass rush and cannot sustain drives on offense and yet have a pass defense ranked #2 in the league, I'm thinking Gipson is doing ok.

In addition to that, the "leaders" in our division are all at .500.  "Leaders" being every single team in the division EXCEPT us.

 

Every single time the door is open for us, we can't even manage our way across the threshold to answer it.

 

Our division will be won in the final three games of the season.  We play a division team each of those weeks.  Unfortunately, we could win every single one of them and still do nothing to help ourselves.  Instead, it will be deciding for someone else.
