Pick 110: Dede Westbrook, WR, Okalhoma

Quote:Well those websites are wrong because he dropped more than three passes this year he dropped two touchdown passes and three passes that ended up in an interception this this past season and that's not including the wide-open drop as he had in the last game of the season against the Colts so you do your research. I suspect the interceptions don't get counted as drops, so you actually agree with those sites. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Your right people who do it for a living are wrong and you a random message board poster are 100% right. http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/stats?season=2016&week=100&category=RECEIVING&opp=0&sort=11&qualified=0&sortOrder=0&page=2 He had 3. And the INTs your thinking of were Lee who went on a run of doing so. Robinson had one tipped pass for an INT in the end zone. You must watch games through a thin blind fold. I love how people on here say Bortles was garbage last year but then act like Bortles play last year had nothing to do with Robinson's bad season. I suspect that if he hadn't called out the fans then most of the people who are against him would be defending his bad season with Bortles bad season. Quote:I suspect the interceptions don't get counted as drops, so you actually agree with those sites. They don't but the three he's think of are Lee's not Robinson's. Lee had 2 or 3 that he tipped in the air that went for INTs and one pop of his foot for an INT. Robinson had the one in endzone that he lost. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:They don't but the three he's think of are Lee's not Robinson's. Two of Lee's tipped balls that were picked were absolutely terrible passes thrown way behind him on crossing patterns. Not Lee's fault in the slightest. Robinson did in fact tip at least two balls for picks as well. One was very flukish as he went down to the ground to scoop a low pass off the turf just as the defender made contact with his elbow forcing the ball upward. The other was in the end zone vs the bears and he should have secured the ball. ![]() Quote:Two of Lee's tipped balls that were picked were absolutely terrible passes thrown way behind him on crossing patterns. Not Lee's fault in the slightest. Forgot about the INT for when he was going the ground. I don't disagree with you about Lee not being at fault, my point in bring up Lee's was that when you do its Bortles fault but when Robinson's are brought up its 100% on him. I maybe wrong but if my memory serves me right Robinson had to go to the ground to catch the one in the end zone which isn't the easiest thing to do, still should have caught it regardless.
Quote:Forgot about the INT for when he was going the ground.Agreed. The thing that jumps out to me is the incredibly high number of times Lee, A-Rob and Hurns had to make difficult catches and/or take vicious hits completely unnecessarily because of Bortles' poor accuracy. Yet folks still want to whine about a whopping 12 or so drops between the three of them. ![]() Quote:Agreed. Inaccurate passes are very bad if the QB is constantly off target like Bortles. Occasionally, off target is OK as acrobatic catches are fun to watch. But the goal is to hit the receiver in stride so he has a chance for a big play instead of stretching out awkwardly and getting your head taken off. Bortles needs to improve his technique, but even with good fundamentals he still was not very accurate throwing the ball.

He had three drops that led interception. First one was against the Raiders, the next one was against the Bears in the endzone and the last one was against the Broncos which was intercepted by Chris Harris. Maybe just maybe you and others need to start giving these receivers excuses and blame blake for everything base yall agenda towards him. These receivers are professional and part of fair job is to catch the ball at even if it's not perfectly thrown to them. Let's be objective about everything with this team ![]() Quote:See that where you are wrong my friend I don't watch the games blindfold but I have been a season-ticket holders since 97 and I attend to two Road games per year. Let's be objective about everything with this teamThe Raiders one was the definition of fluke and hit him in the shoulder as he was falling to the ground. It`s like the ball going off Lee`s foot for an INT. The Bears one is one of the ugliest passes for 5 yards i`ve ever seen as it leave Blakes hand then spins sideways with zero spiral and hits Robinson in the upper arm as hes going to the ground. At worst it`s on both Robinson and Blake. The Broncos one flat out isn`t on Robinson he had the ball and Harris got his hands under the ball and popped it out and made the INT that`s what good CBs do. I have no problem with Bortles he had a bad year and it made everyone around him look bad, I fully expect him to have a better season this year maybe not 2015 but good. For comparisons look at Hopkins same thing happened to him last year, the QB play was garbage and he had a down year.

One of the fan-blog sites mis-reported it as Lee, but it was in fact Yeldon. edit: my error - there was another one thrown behind Lee (again) that hit his foot in stride - but it actually hit his outstretched left hand first. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. there were atleast two robinson drop/interceptions. One was on the sideline and a bad pass but he had a shot at it. Think someone else pointed out it was against the broncos.
Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17 2016 draft players I think will be good

I mentioned the Broncos one above. Robinson made the catch and Harris got his hand under the ball and knocked it lose then picked it. |
