Sean McDermott is basically Gus when we hired him.

Hope you guys are ready for Mike Smith.

He's turned that Tampa D around, has ties to Jacksonville and has had success as a HC.

A lot of Bills fans miss Jim Schwartz and really want to see him back. They might get their wish.

Quote:Of that list, I like......

Jim Bob Cooter, Kyle Shanahan, Harold Goodwin, Matt Patricia, Teryl Austin, Vance Joseph and Sean McDermott in that order.

I do not want......

Jim Schwartz- A failed head coach who is better as a coordinator.

Darrell Bevell- Seattle fans can't even stand this guy. I don't want anyone who might keep this "wonky" defensive scheme either. I want a pure 4-3 or 3-4.

Tom Coughlin- Old as God.

Mike Smith- Another failed head coach who excels as a coordinator.

Josh McDermott- Didn't this guy beg for his team to draft Tim Tebow? Enough said.

Josh? You mean Sean McDermott, right?

I'm on the Mike Smith bus too.

I'm sure he meant Josh McDaniels as he brought up Tebow.

We are going to need this. Its that time of year

@alcaruso3 Sources: Smith to be front-runner for Jaguars head coaching job... https://t.co/JVkt2Q1XpM

just great, cover 2 zone and boring vanilla offense.

we all know Gus is returning as coach. Khan doesn't have the guts to fire him.

Who cares. If Caldwell stays, he's gonna screw this hire up too.
No commercial messages in sigs

14-47, and on the way to 14-50. Still not convinced he will be fired either.

Yeah, I was thinking of too many names at once and apparently mixed them up. My bad. Blush

Willing to bet my life savings he doesn't.

Smith is alright, but I'd rather take a flier on another coach. I'd rather risk success/failure with another coach; Smith isn't a great coach, and I'd rather look for one that is

Pretty sure Bradley's getting fired.  It's just not palatable to bring him back after his record: for the Jaguars, the fans, or the business.

Please, and thank you.

I am not sure that the sunrise is as absolute as the eminent firing of Gus upon the seasons end.

Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.

Their D has definitely been hot lately.  I'm sure if this keeps up he will be a HC next year.  Not sure how I feel about him here.

gus is gone as soon as the last second ticks off the clock in Indy but, they will probably give him a ride home.

Smith is ok.....but I'm betting Khan aims higher this time.
