It does not matter who wins this one. The Rams traded away their first round pick.
Special teams coordinator John Fassel, former Giants coach Jim's son, is coaching the Rams. Quote:It does not matter who wins this one. The Rams traded away their first round pick. I understand why this game doesn't matter for most Jaguars fans. But it has major significance for fans of NFC Teams in playoff contention.
Quote:I understand why this game doesn't matter for most Jaguars fans. But it has major significance for fans of NFC Teams in playoff contention. Oh yeah, definitely. Seattle wins the division with a win OR Arizona loss. The Lions don't want to play at Century Link Field. Quote:Oh yeah, you want Seattle to have to play at Detroit next month. Ideally, Seattle won't even make it that far into the playoffs. They are a dangerous team, even on the road, but that much more at home. We show less advertisements to registered users. The Seahawks are definitely a team that others would hope to avoid facing in the playoffs, especially if that were to be in Seattle. Quote:Exactly. The Seahawks are definitely a team that others would hope to avoid facing in the playoffs, especially if that were to be in Seattle. Absolutely. The Seahawks are battle tested at most positions, have a differential QB, and a Defense with playmakers on all 3 levels. Quote:It does not matter who wins this one. The Rams traded away their first round pick. This game is very important to Seattle (and other NFC playoff, contending teams) in regards to playoff seedings and implications. For teams like the Lions, Packers, Giants, etc.. (and probably even the Vikings), these last few games regarding NFC competitors are important. Of course, mist others would like to see the Rams win tonight. But, as you said, it's not likely to happen due to their recent circumstances.
Quote:Exactly. The Seahawks are definitely a team that others would hope to avoid facing in the playoffs, especially if that were to be in Seattle. Especially the Packers. The guy who fumbled a punt in Seattle got death threats and lost his job because of that one play. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:This game is very important to Seattle (and other NFC playoff, contending teams) in regards to playoff seedings and implications. I meant it does not matter to our favorite team, the Jaguars. If the Rams did not have a good defense, I would expect this one to be a blowout. Quote:This game is very important to Seattle (and other NFC playoff, contending teams) in regards to playoff seedings and implications. Normally this season, I have rooted against the Rams this season because of their owner, chief executive, now former HC, and Defensive Coordinator. But tonight is an exception, even though I expect the Seahawks to win going away. Quote:I meant it does not matter to our favorite team, the Jaguars.Agree. It has no bearing on the Jaguars, that's true. It still may be a blowout. LA's offense is basically "stuck in the mud" this year. Maybe this coaching shakeup makes a little difference, but I highly doubt it tonight going against the Seahawks defense in Seattle. Rams defense is good though. I agree with that also.
Quote:Agree. It has no bearing on the Jaguars, that's true. The one thing that would go against a blowout prediction is their first meeting was all field goals, 9-3. But that was with a crappy QB named Case Keenum for the Rams. Who knows what Jared Goff can do? Another big difference is Earl Thomas being on injured reserve. I don't know how much that will help the Rams, but it helped the Packers big time on Sunday. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Earl Thomas seems to not be confident in his own team's offense.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...le-tonight This tweet made me laugh: I'm not a coach just trying to have a friendly discussion plus I'm bored in the backseat of my whip.
Goff, bust, I knew he was overrated coming out of college. but, he's better than Blake bortles.
Those Seattle uniforms are just bad...very bad.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
