Back on topic real quickly....there are nice people here that are continuously giving positive advice and being nice and you continuously deny anything they want to give.  If you are unwilling to accept the way things work for other people, even a little, why should they accept the way things work for you?

When I tell people who live in "driving distance" they should go to games I am specifically targeting fans who say they don't want to go because we suck and have no other reasons to stay home. People who already have tickets should go to games, not sell them. Obviously they have no problem getting to the stadium because they bought tickets. If you say you can't get to that game because of a scheduling conflict, that is one thing. But telling me you don't want to waste money on game tickets because we suck is a totally different animal. Those are the fans I am getting at when I say staying home is a big mistake.

So, you do know we live in a free country right? And people can do whatever they want with their season tickets, can decide whether or not they want to go to a game, have every right to buy or not to buy a ticket for a team that is on life support, etc. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it a mistake, it's their right to choose what they want to do and shouldn't be told by you or anyone else they are wrong. 

 

Would I rather fans go to games if they can? Yes, absolutely, but it is not my business to tell anyone what to do and it's not yours either. If you feel this is a direct attack on you, so be it, but it's not. You want people to explain to you why they say something you don't understand and this is me explaining to you why what you said is completely wrong.
