So, an owner who was praised for his loyalty not wanting to fire a guy mid-season fires his coach on the road before getting on the team charter with 2 games left with nothing to play for.

 

Not quite sure what Khan's thinking was on this as it pertains to his perceived loyalty.

 

Maybe Khan had just seen enough and today's Jags meltdown loss while holding a 20-8 lead was the tipping point.

 

If Gus wins today, I have no doubt he would still be here,  but he didn't.

I'm always curious if the cities coaches get fired from ever make an impression on them or if Gus will just get the hell out when he can. It sucks for the kids who are in school and have friends.

If I had as much money as Gus does, it wouldn't bother me a bit. He had to know it was coming in the very near future. Now, he can relax and spend the holidays with his family and he doesn't have to game plan for the next match up, (not like he did that before either.)

I really don't care. We all knew this was coming at the end of the season, so seeing it happen now really makes no difference. I'm still bitter, because this should've been done weeks ago. All Khan did by keeping Gus so long is to prolong the misery. Nothing changed, we still kept losing.

We fire Gus after TEN and we still win 5 games this year tops. Who the hell cares. Im ecstatic just knowing for certain hes gone.
