Trade for Sean Payton

#1

@jasonlacanfora Saints aren't expected to ask for much to trade Sean Payton during offseason - https://t.co/8YWtYT4QKi https://t.co/md1NJ2fVwG

Hes the big name experienced coach we need.

I'd take him for sure. Offensive mind is what we need. As bad as NO defense has been, the offense still puts up outrageous numbers
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I dunno I've fallen off the Sean Payton wagon the last few years. Hasn't won a playoff game let alone been to the playoffs in what 4 years

@miketainer Someone who could fix an offense, develop a QB and needs some built-in defensive talent to get back to the postseason. https://t.co/dqioFseSib

Sounds like what we need. Yesplease. Trade a 2nd rounder.

Is he bringing a in-his-prime Drew Brees with him?

God forbid we don't get a "big name coach". Funny how these big name coaches were once not big name coaches.

The main reason for that is their absolutely garbage defense, though is he deserves a share of the blame for that. Similar to a lot of coaches who have had some success, once they get more say in building the roster, they generally screw themselves over. If he just sticks to coaching, I'd be onboard depending on the price.

Why is Cyp 30 yards down field?

Because he gave up a touchdown to the tight end two plays ago, and he's still trying to catch up.

The timing between this rumor and gus being fired is at least slightly curious.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

That 6th or 7th could be easily made up with a trade down in the draft for Cook

Not sure how I feel about trading for a HC who isn't necessarily even remotely guaranteed to be successful.

Even if Khan/Caldwell want Payton, I think the timing was pure coincidence.
