I saw the ESPN documentary 30 for 30 and I thought it deserved discussion. Why does everything have to be on the exact anniversary?

Nope, it happened on this day too. That's part of the reason why this day is so memorable.

 

I remember visiting my family back home in Bed-Stuy, and watching the chase and the Knicks game at the same time. I was at a relatives bday party and nobody wanted to go home. The Borough was in a standstill.
