What free agents would you want to come to Jacksonville this offseason?

Stack OLine. Watching Raiders/Titans/Cowboys beat people up front is really incredible to watch.

Quote:Hoyer or Glennon

If we sign Glennon, he has to be the franchise starter. Adam Schefter said today that he expects Glennon to get a contract between $15-17 million per year. I just don't see him as a franchise guy, but for that price, he'd better be.

I personally think he could be an above average starter in this league. On Kirk Cousins level.

Yes, the sooner Dave understands the game is won in the trenches, the better off we will be.

Quote:No love for martellus Bennett or Jordan Cameron both tight ends? Julius Thomas and Mercedes Lewis are not that good.

On this forum I have been seeing love for Neal Sterling and Ben Koyack. They are clear upgrades from guys some fans can't remember. The only debatable position group is offensive line, and there are medical reasons for that.

Quote:I mean, we have the 4th ranked pass defense with a less tham average pass rush. Not sure what else you can ask for.

Gipson hasnt made the turnover impact people expected but in recent years we got killed due to bad FS play, I think he likely has a hand in the improvement along with Ramsey and Prince.

Give me Leary or Zietler. Need to fix one of RT or LG imo. Draft isnt great in OL department.

Yeah, but no doubt Berry would make us even better. Constantly improve, don't settle. Cyp can be replaced.

Oh for sure. Im just saying we have more pieces than Ramsey that have a long term future here and have been good this year.

Gipson gets a ton kf flack but rheres no doubt that tbis pass d is legit and the best weve had in a long time. You dont get that with poor play from your FS.

Just going to hope a new coach can fix our turnover problem. It has to be something with Gus's D. Weve struggled with it since he got here.

Or one could just draft Jamal Adams

Yeah I can't wait for a new scheme. Do you think Jack gets a full time role next year? I think he's a game changer like Ramsey, but we never get to see much of him.

Quote:Realistically, I'd wouldn't mind talking to other teams and see if we could make a reasonable trade for a QB. Nothing blockbuster, but someone along the lines of Sean Mannion, Tom Savage (If he's available now), Connor Cook or possibly Chase Daniel. The price tag for guys like Jimmy Garrapolo and A.J. McCarron are going to be very high, but one of the guys I mentioned might be had for a 3rd round pick and they could push for the starting job. Depending on the price tag, I might be willing to do it.
sean mannion and connor cook for a 3rd

what. the. [BLEEP].

We have the right players in the wrong scheme.

the defensive line is not being negatively affected by our scheme.

So is it simply having the wrong assistant coaches?

I'd rather have a proven player at Safety.

Quote:Le'Veon Bell isn't going anywhere. The Steelers will place the exclusive rights Franchise Tag on him. That's why I didn't name him or Kirk Cousins.

The Steelers might tag Bell, but not with the exclusive tag attached. If for any reason they don't, I am all for signing him through free agency.

With his suspension record, and basically showing he's not reliable, you'd pay a ridiculous amount for him? Dude is going to demand top dollar since he's one of the best. Draft one, way better plan.

For all we know it could just be growing pains for the young guys. Nobody can be judged based on one game or one season. You have to look at the bigger picture.
