Ramsey had that rookie breakout game

Quote:He was. My point was Osweiler is a bottom tier QB and he couldn't sack the guy once. All edge rushers are judged on their ability to sack. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can. Even elite pass rushers can't sack anyone if they are being held by the offensive line. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:He was. LOL I don't even know where to start with this post. It's not about correcting you. Its about waiting a few years and reassessing whether you know what the hell you're talking about. We're clearly not there yet.
Dude... he played like an elite on Sunday. He's flashed here and there all year but he flat out took over some drives in that game. He's certainly what we've been lacking for nearly a decade on this defense. I hope Caldwell can keep building off the success of his 2016 class and get it done again in 2017.

The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king." Quote:Dude... he played like an elite on Sunday. Quote:To Ramsey's point, if the refs can't call it fairly across all organizations, the NFL has a serious problem on their hands.IMO, referring hasn't been the same since the replacement refs. Ever since the "real" ones got back, they've been way off and sloppy. Not just for the Jags. Everywhere. Every game. And players are starting to call out refs more and more, with no concern for penalties and fines. This really should force the NFL's hand, and if they don't move toward full time professional officials, then the NFLPA should make it a point during the next CBA. Everyone has a job to do. The fact that these guys have "real" jobs outside of football means they aren't giving their 100% to this one. If they were held accountable better instead of the "oh no playoff game for you" BS they'd perform better. Ref'ing will never be perfect. Humans are fallible. But it could be a WHOLE lot better.
