OFFICIAL/CONFIRMED: Bradley Fired
|
Quote:I can see that the Jaguars need help BUT it is wrong to fire a family man before the holidays I think they could had waited until the holidays were over first. It's all about money! I think they should all be ashamed of themselves it isn't Gus's Fault that the Players just don't care.In relieving him now they in turn are allowing him to spend all that time with his family instead of a 100 hours a week at work. Plus he is getting paid no matter what to include all of next year. Never feel sorry for a millionaire.

And a pool in the backyard. It's just the way the calendar year falls. The longer the season draws out the closer it gets to Christmas. Coaches realize this when they take the jobs. Even if you're a staffer, if your HC goes you know you're likely to go with him at season's end. It's the nature of the job. It goes with the territory.

I find it a little hard to feel sorry for a guy making 4+ million a year, getting paid out becasue he was fired.....and will probably go on a DC somewhere at at least a million.
life is tough huh.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

If I got fired but still was guaranteed my whole next year's worth of salary (and that salary was Millions) I'd be bummed, I'm sure. But at the same time I'd take the family out on a nice vacation and kicked the ol' feet up for awhile before I started my job search. Gus been putting in long hours and been away from his family for a long time, it's gotta be a little be humiliating to lose your job, but at least he's got more free time for spend for a little bit. I'd get over it pretty quick, I highly doubt Gus is hurting financially at the moment. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Yep, we paid out his unused vacation and gave him 4 weeks severance pay which equated to $5,242 net of tax Poor Gus. It's not like he got an extra $3.5 million or anything. Just brutal haha. "Sitting on the bus waiting to go to the airport, and the things start popping up on social media," Posluszny said. "That's how we found out, so it was very surprising." I mean, I hated Gus as a coach like everyone else but lot of things dont even add up. Dave said he already planned to fire him before the game, but then Dave says he couldnt lie to him and had to fire him 1 hour after game. Brutal. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...eys-firingNo matter who's running the show the Jags again have shown that they simply cannot choose the timing of an announcement of a firing correctly. Hell, they introduced Garrard as the starter at a luncheon then proceeded to fire him an hour freaking later. What gives man? How is this to be explained?

How is this to be explained? It is literally one of those things that continually make you shake your head with the franchise. "Decision to fire him was made before game". Imagine if the Jags actually managed to hold on for the win and Gus was fired 1 hr after a win. Gus is in mid "We believe in victory" chant in locker room when he gets a quick text from Dave saying your fired lol.
Do ya'll think Gus feels like a complete failure?
Do ya'll think his wife feels like he's a complete failure? I was just wondering...I know if it were me, I'd feel like a complete failure.
Have you seen my baseball?

Quote:Huh? How does that scream "I need attention"?You mean digging up a 7 day old thread that no one has posted in... to bash on Gus with stupid remarks like "I wonder if his wife thinks he's a failure" I dunno... just seems like you need a friend or two. Or you just need to grow up? |
