Fair answer. People's personal definition of reliable is just that: "personal". Some would not consider Fitz reliable because he's bounced around the league, but he's thrown for over 25K yards and 160TDs. Others would say Glennon is "reliable", but he's only won like a third of the games he's started. Personally, I'd like to see Fitz or Carson if they're available.

 

 

fitz or palmer would both be pretty great options in my opinion. worst case scenario is fitz is one of the best backups in the league. 

 

i have a feeling palmer will try to be a starter for at least another year or two somewhere though and wouldnt even consider competing for the starting role.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer to anybody's QB problems. He is awful.

Concur. I see Palmer trying to find a solid fit where a solid QB is all is missing (Buffalo/LA). I wouldn't hate Fitz. He is what he is at this point in his career but he would be head and shoulder above Blake right now. Short of Blake popping his head out of his but or finding a Prescott in the 4th, we are more or less stuck picking the retread market.

This is the type of thinking that gets Fitz jobs year in and year out. Hes just as bad a QB as blake, the idea that he can be a stop gap is over he cant play.
