What scouts are saying about Teddy Bridgewater

Big game for Teddy tonight. Will likely determine a slip in his draft position if he doesn't perform well.

Wouldn't you be a clown for putting Luck in the same class as Manning and Marino?

Are you saying Teddy is not as good as Luck? He certainly is not the next Marino or Manning.

I have a feeling he'll be lights-out and drafted by the Texans

I'll still go on record saying that I think teddy is going to be one of the best qbs drafted in the past ten years. It would be a shame to miss out on him.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

He (bridgewater) will be, provided his frame doesn't render him injury prone.

Don't worry about Superman, err HeeRo, the David Carr luva. We all know Carr sucks and will be a garbage pro.

That may be true, but don't try to put him in the same class as HOF quarterbacks.

Why does everybody worry so much about that? Much bigger quarterbacks suffer all kinds of injuries, so if he gets hurt, you can't blame his size for it.

I think Carr will end up the best qb in this class but your opinion on teddy and my opinion on Carr doesn't seem to go on par with recent reports coming out. This is not a great qb class but its a deep one.

QB height really doesn't mean what it used to.

Lets stop putting stock into it like it actually means a whole lot.

I think a performance in a meaningless bowl game has more effect on his mock draft position than his actual draft position.

I just am baffled about this height "concern"

Bridgewater's height has never been an issue brought up before but suddenly it's a problem?

Even if he is shorter than ideal he has the pocket movement skills to make up for it.

They're reaching for a reason to knock him down because from a technical standpoint he's as close to perfect as it gets.

for the record, I'm more concerned with Bridgewater's thin frame than his height. Brunell was 6' 1" too....but a thick, solid, strong 6' 1". Teddy's legs look like matchsticks. It won't matter as long as he is able to avoid the crippling solid hits.

He'll have Joeckel blocking for him, and Joeckel looked great in his few snaps at LT.

He'll probably have Duane Brown blocking for him, but thats another story....

I am for the Jags drafting Teddy should the miracle happen and he falls to our pick.

If he is not the best quarterback now, he will not be the best quarterback later. And he currently is not the best quarterback.
