Lol, lets let the Texans take them up on that deal... By the skewedness of Belicheks previous trades, I think that means hes about Matt Cassel level or a good backup.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

I don't get the fascination with this guy.  He's played two games in the Patriots' system which has made Matt Cassell and Jacoby Brissett look good.

Why would anyone think that's a good deal? Do you see great teams like the Patriots, Steelers, Packers doing stupid stuff like that?

It blows my mind sometimes how teams get hooked into being bad with moves like this. Of course someone will take the bait, just hope it's not us.

Definitely not giving up a 1st for a guy who broke his throwing shoulder in his second game, especially with our sieve OL.  We need to pick 3 OL in this draft.

No, because they have had Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, and Favre/Rodgers for how long.

I think thats a terrible deal but people use that excuse all the time. Those teams havr had great QB play for how long so obviously theres no need to take risks like that.

After I saw that, Ive been questioning everything. Now im starting to wonder if tom brady is even good.... if BB can make brissett look good, nothing in the world makes sense anymore.

I wouldn't even trade the 4th for Jimmy G let alone a 1st to accompany the 4th.

The Browns have made a counter offer for 3 first round picks.

Being a game manager and merely existing on the Patriots bench makes you a first rounder lol

The fact that the Patriots would ask that let's you know exactly how they feel about Jimmy G as a successor to Brady

This made me laugh way more than it should have. But hey man, they won a game! They're SB bound!

He played pretty well with his limited amount of snaps.

Outside of Brady, has any Belichick coached QB gone on to have sustained success in the league?
