Quote:I knew Bortles was trash. But here is the honest truth...if Bortles didn't have a windup, he would be a top 10 QB. Negitive the majority of it all is bad decisions. The difference this year has been Robinson and Hurns. Already proved themselves. So dont try as hard.

Already proved themselves. So dont try as hard. No, his mechanics make his decisions look worse. When you have a windup like that, it gives professional corners and other players more time to get to where he's throwing. He has his problems with decision making, but there's a lot of QB's in the NFL that act invincible out there when throwing and think they can make the throw when it isn't a smart one. I see it from Phillip Rivers all the time. Matt Stafford has done it plenty in his career. Favre was known for his gunslinger mentality, etc. His windup and poor footwork make his decision making look much worse than it is. He'll always throw interceptions, he's never going to have years in the single digits, but he's better than what he's been this season if he can fix his mechanics like he did prior to 2015.
If we beat the clots as handily as we beat the titians with Bortles playing lights out again, Doug Marrone will be at the top of the candidate list.

Idk if my patience can stand another bone head HC. I mean...Wth is really going on. We have e talent.. don't think so? Ask the Tennessee Titans whom we absolutely hammered last week. Cleveland is near void of talent. We are not. And...We should be even MORE TALENTED at the start of next season. With Marone... We win AFC South next year... Easily Quote:Okay let me get this straight. A guy who has limited starts at qb is okay. Yet a interim hc with limited starts is not? Dude, what are you even spewing with this comment? Who said anything about HC? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Per NFL.com The story is posting now on @NLF.com: #49ers are expected to fire coach Chip Kelly and GM Trent Baalke, sources say.
Quote:Marrone left on his own so it wasnt much of a patience thing. And Marrones team was better because of Schwartz defense, There wasnt much else on the team to speak of outside of that. Ryan screwed the whole thing up switching to a 3-4. When Doug Marrone did leave the Bills a couple of years ago, I was critical of his decision. Looking at what transpired two years later, admittedly I was wrong to be critical of Marrone. From his discussions with Bills ownership and observing them, he probably saw problems that made him believe that it was better to move on. Granted, Marrone probably thought he would get another NFL HC that winter. The Jets at one point seemed very interested in him ( and might be again this winter ). But something ( s ) must have greatly concerned Marrone about the Bills organization. iMO, hiring Rex Ryan and then firing him before the end of his 2nd season with them vindicates Marrone. Being that Marrone hired Jim Schwartz to run his Defense is something that he deserves plenty of credit for. Also, to Marrone's credit, he didn't like what he saw from EJ Manuel and benched him in favor of journeyman Kyle Orton. A 9 win season under that circumstance is something I view as a successful season. That much more considering it was the Bills only winning season in the last 12 seasons. If any NFL Franchise needs to clean house from top to bottom, it's the SF 49ers.

Broncos is the most desirable job on the market. Colts would be the second best if/when they fire Grigson and Pagano
Quote:Tons of vacancies. We are about to see if Jacksonville is as attractive a job as everybody makes it out to be... Yea, doesnt bode well for the Jaguars if more spots open up. |
