Yes, I'm sure professionals with their pride, and possibly jobs on the line, are tanking a game in order to make another team dlhave a draft slots a few picks back. Think about how insane that sounds.

Also, potentially improving the draft position of another division rival.

I did go take a look and my opinion remains the same.  I would put Fred in before Gore easily.  Fred was a great player and a great talent.  Gore has been a good-really good talent for a long time but I would not call him great.  The hall of fame should be reserved for great not good.

Looks like he'll be top 5 for career yardage if he retires after next year. He's one of those guys who is hampered because his teams were awful for the most part.
