Year 4 of the "rebuild"...Dave Caldwell's talent took us to 3-13

I'm so happy that we're moving on tomorrow.

Whatever happens next it'll be better, won't it?

Truly, but I think this has been rock bottom. It would be hard even actively trying to be worse than the last 4 months.

Romo looked good in limited snaps today.

What, all 4 passes? How many snaps did he actually take? I'd guess like 12, if that. Did he even get hit?

It must be.

Trying to think of the exact moment it hit rock bottom for me. Probably last year when Mariota ran for an 87 yard TD then on the next series Wiz fumbled the snap and they scored to win a crucial game, tacks game this year was pretty low too.

Real talk though, if you can't answer those simple questions that I asked you, you have no business saying that he looked sharp.

If you truly watched him to know if he really looked sharp, you'd know about how many snaps he took and if he got hit or not.

What quarter did he get into the game? How much time was left? What was the score? Did he get into the game with 5 minutes left and the Defense just playing a soft prevent defense?

He came in the game with it tied 3-3. He played only played the one drive. It was the second quarter. He played roughly 7 or 8 snaps. He there dallas' only touchdown. They were not playing prevent or soft zone. He wasn't hit but that's because he was getting the ball out quick. He looked sharp. Real Talk. I watched the game. Clearly, you did not.

That's fine and I clearly never said I watched that game. I wasn't going to waste my time watching that game to know that Romo is all but done regardless of what happened.

Awesome, he played 7 or 8 snaps and didn't get hit. I guess we better throw $18m+ at him because he showed he can play at least 3-10 snaps a game right?

You said he's going to the Super Bowl, why shouldn't we throw $30m per year at him if that's the case......

Cause I don't think we will. I'm pretty sure he's going to Denver. And we will give Bortles another year to prove he's the guy.

You said he's going to "lead" Denver to a Super Bowl though... If that's the case, why not throw the entire check book at him???.. I mean, since he's leading teams to the Super Bowl and all.

I would try to sign him. However, I don't think Caldwell will, and I don't think he'd come here anyway.

You honestly believe 10 snaps in a total of 2+ years is enough to sign a QB and have absolutely any hope in him?? lol...

The guy is going to be 37. He's had 2 back surgeries and 2 collar bone injuries/surgeries in a total of 2 years. You honestly have ANY faith in him, regardless of the team?

Yeah. I actually do. We will see next year what happens with him. He will be starting somewhere, most likely for a contender, and it wouldn't shock me if he has them in the big dance.

If the big dance consists of a total of 3-5 games, ok lol.

Back injuries don't ever get better and that's a fact. He's had 2 back injuries/surgeries in the past year+, that's a fact.

He's going to be 37 years old before next season even starts. Let alone with multiple back surgeries, how many 37+ year old QBs excel in the NFL?

Very few of them and Romo isn't anywhere close to the caliber of QB who could pull that off. Even if his back wasn't made of plastic.
