  This seems like one of the most likely scenarios.   It makes sense on many levels.

 

   If the Broncos decide to hire Vance Joseph,  who they interviewed in 2015 for the HC position,   the chances of Wade Phillips remaining in Denver as DC will likely lessen considerably.

With Kubiak retiring and Wade Phillips contract set to expire, Wade is going to be a coaching free agent. Whoever we hire as HC, I don't care what it takes, we need to get this guy in Jacksonville as DC.

 

Wade Phillips probably doesn't even know what a LEO or OTTO is and most likely doesn't even realize how good Dan Skuta is.

I want our new coach to care less what a LEO or OTTO is. We need to start running a conventional scheme, be it a 4-3 or a 3-4. Not another hybrid.
