Play Jaguar GM For The Draft

#1

This is not about naming specific players, but rather positions (holes) to be filled. And yes, I know we don't know what free agency will bring. So all that being said, there are 7 picks this year (I believe). What positions will be targeted with those picks. This is also discounting the whole BAP argument as well. Just a simple thing.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

We still want inconsistent Jason Myers? Obviously drafting him would be way down the pecking order, but lets clear the air. Hes not trust worthy, he cant kick from within 40. And hes way too inconsistent for me.

Probably someone who doesn't think the team will resign prince. If that doesn't happen you have a big hole there. Outside of Jalen and colvin the rest are not starter quality. And there's no way they don't cut house. He's been absolutely atrocious and costs too much to be a bench player.

RB, OL, QB, S, DE

All depending on FA. There's plenty of room for improvement.
Only a chump boos the home team!

No way you waste a draft pick on a kicker. You can bring in competition through free agency or an udfa. But no way do you draft a kicker. I know myers is inconsistent, but he has a top 3 leg in the league. I think he gets a little longer to figure it out.

Which QBs do you think are worth drafting. I personally don't think any of them merit burning a pick in the first 3 rounds. After that you're all but assured to get a backup/journeyman caliber QB. I don't see any of QBs rounds 4-7 being considerably better than Allen.

Makes sense.  Carry on.

Did you mean trade up in the first round or like ever?

I voted for all of them.

Because I like clicking the boxes.

I tried to vote receiver 6 times.  It wouldn't let me.

Jacksonville removes the TE position.  And drafts an additional 4 wide receivers to play TE.  To make sure finds the dime in the dozen.

You can never have enough good corners.

I filled out the poll the same way any NFL GM should. Open to drafting any and all positions and open to trading up or down.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

So if there is a lights out kicker available in round 7, we shouldnt take him?

You need to fix the OLine before drafting an RB.

We could easily do both in the draft and free agency. The draft is pretty deep at RB this year from what I've read.
