Kind of Bothersome

Quote:Having listened to him on Hannity. That's not entirely 100% accurate. While he did say he didn't receive it from Russians he did make a statement that it appeared Russian. Well he said that he is "1000% certain the Russian government is not the source". The government and media have a proven and verifiable track record of misleading the public and outright lying. Wikileaks has its flaws but I'd believe Assange over most. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Sigh... Some people just don't get it. The only "proof" that they have is that some of the code reverse-engineered contains some Cyrillic characters. Here's the problem with that based on the actual FACTS that we know.
1. The exploit used is an old method freely available for download on the internet. The software originated in Ukraine. Some Ukrainians speak Russian. 2. Любой может напечатать в кириллических знаках. (Anyone can type in Cyrillic characters). 3. According to the spreadsheet released by the government containing a list of ip addresses of where the attacks came from, there is no easy way to pinpoint exactly where originated, especially since the majority of them came from TOR exit nodes as well as the U.S. ![]() 4. Julian Assange stated that his source was most definitely not the Russian government, and not from any state source. 5. A cyber forensics professional (non-partisan) analysed the data released by DHS and published his findings on his company's website. He also concluded that there is no evidence that the Russian government was involved. 6. CNN published a very misleading article with an outright dishonest headline. "Adviser contradicts Trump: Russians hacked the US". The problem is, that's not what the adviser said and it's even stated in the article. Quote: I've already shown what the problem is with the last part in bold in the quote. The truth is out there for anyone to research for themselves. Some people seem to think that "random blogs" are not reputable sources of information, so they reject the idea of even reading them, yet those same individuals probably believe something written on the daily kos or huffington post. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
