Play Jaguar GM For The Draft

Watson definitely has the arm for the NFL lol, thats a really bad take. Accuracy and everything is definitely questionable but his arm talent isnt lacking enough to not make it.

The 1st round pick should be Allen, Garrett or Barnett at this point. Obviously things change.
Running backs come from all over the draft and this one is fairly deep. Add in a guard or tackle in rounds 2 or 3 and you got yourself a good looking 2017 draft.
Please, just no more "experimental", "open up the playbook with his legs" Quarterbacks. Get a real genuine, natural passer. Let the QB's throw and the RB's run, no more experimental, reinvent the wheel crap.
If that means waiting til 2018 and sticking the BB, Allen/Henne fine. With a good coach and decent draft/FA signings, Bortles can probably be serviceable enough until we find that protypical pocket passer.
Quote:So if you had the 40th pick in the draft and Barnett slid and was available at 39, you wouldn't consider trading up for him? No. I hate giving up draft picks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Our running game is worst than awful. Dalvin Cook in the first and OL with the next 3 picks. I don't care who you bring in at QB (trade for journeyman/draft) if we can't run the ball or protect the QB we're going to lose a lot of games.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:I'm gonna drink beer and watch the draft...I don't have time for these silly games.Yup drunk me. Selects 4 more receivers to play TE. Can never have enough. And can easily promote to receiver. Once others give up.

I chose 8 positions, even though we have 7 selections. But I figure one or the other of DT/DE
we need a couple OL and maybe a mid round QB Also S should be added just in case Cyprien doesn't continue to grow. Also I would trade up, but not in this years first (from 4 to 3 or higher) And I would trade down, in any round, if the value is there.
Who are the 16 people that voted for center as a big need?
We have Brandon Linder, Tyler Shatley, Luke Bowanko coming back. Seems like we are set at center
Quote:Who are the 16 people that voted for center as a big need? Do you mean Duke Bowanko?
Quote:Who are the 16 people that voted for center as a big need? I think some people voted for Center because when we go to pick an interior offensive lineman, a Center may be the best one left on the board. In that case, we could move Linder back to OG where he was equally as successful and not lose a beat. Linder's success as an OG and a Center allows us some flexibility. I'd like to see us trade down and go Oline heavy for this draft.
Shock the world
Quote:I'd like to see us trade down and go Oline heavy for this draft. That's ideal.
The best case scenario is that with so many teams looking for new franchise QB's, Jacksonville is hopefully in a spot where someone might want to leapfrog the Jets for a QB of Tennessee for a WR or DE and that gives the Jags a chance to FINALLY move back and acquire a few extra picks. The Jags have good core players and need to start loading up on Lineman and Non-Premium positions while overhauling the run game. I'm going to post a favorable Jaguars scenario below. I think it would be a travesty to walk away from this draft without stocking up a few extra picks. I think the Jags need to give Bortles one more year since the QB class is filled with Bortles types (ie bad mechanics, wild throwing project QB's). I'm overhauling my RB's and Signing Zach Line from the Vikings. I'm also filling a few voids in FA without going crazy. The team can wait to fill some holes there. I don't know where guys will fall just yet but going off of feel here... Just sticking to BAP on the big board, I fill some solid holes here, load up on depth and get my insurance policy for Bortles and finally find a solid replacement for Meyers

A combo of Malik Hooker and DeMarcus Walker would be my ideal start to the draft.
I Hope it goes in this order.... DT, RB, OL, TE, SS, LB, CB,
Quote:I'd like to see us trade down and go Oline heavy for this draft. Would be wise... I think two of this years top 4 picks will be OL picks... |
