There are 2 things you can always count on. Number 1, when a team goes into the "prevent" defense it only prevents them from winning. Number 2, when a team with the lead plays it way too safe at the end of a close game they will lose. Franklin lost that game by running 3 straight times when USC was clearly playing to stop the run. All they basicallly needed was 1 first down to ice the game and they have a reliable tight end standing about 6'7" who made big catches all year. Bad coaching at the end.

Barkley should sit out next season.  No reason for him to risk injury and play at all.  Get an agent, start marketing yourself, start training, meet with scouts and GMs, etc...

Well then that would be based on opinion and not stats. I'm not knocking him by any means and if we don't have success with whatever RBs we have next year then we need to have him on our board. With that said Cook beats him in just about every statistical category for a RB.

Agreed. IMO he's the best RB prospect since AP. Strength, lateral quickness, speed, vision. It looks like he really has every trait a RB needs.

Sophomore. Also the best running back since AP gets thrown out there way too much. With that said, if Saquon repeats or beats this year's production he and Guice from LSU will def be getting the fair share of looks in the first round next year
