Also how do recent illegal immigrants get welfare? Surely that flags them as illegal?

Since the border sits on roughly 60% of private land, how does he plan to build on that property?

Eminent Domain.

No. Actually enforcing the existing laws would suffice. Something the sitting party didn't allow for the past 8 years.

These illegal immigrants have been having a field day for almost a decade. Libs won't even call them what they are. They choose a niiiiiice term like "undocumented immigrant" to sound PC. They are in fact illegal aliens. They are citizens of a foreign country who came to the US illegally. People can immigrate here legally, and it will be documented every single time. That's what makes that term so laughable.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

It's still the country's border, they are free to do with it what the want. Do you think the property owners are gonna complain about them stopping trespassers from using their land?

I think there will be some who are going to be very upset to have a structure built by on their land.

I see Conservatives getting a little Democrat in them.

BTW, if the 60% number is correct than about 1920 km of the border is on private land. that's about 1200 miles. If the border wall and the surrounding land is 100 meters wide and land sells around 10 dollar per square meter you're looking at an eminent domain bill of nearly $2 billion dollars. That's before anything has been built.

It's already been going on since 2008...that's when they started working on the Secure Fence Act of 2006. A bill signed by Bush and voted for by both Clinton and Obama. Guess you've been clutching those pearls for along time about this issue, right?

And since when is being paid for your property "stealing"? Just compensation has to be paid when claiming eminent domain.

I have always and will always be 100% against eminent domain.

Your question is worthless. I never voted for Obama or Clinton when she was voting for it. I will point out the hypocritical Republicans on this every time.

But I did stand and get involved for the Hurst Bean Co. when they fought Eminent Domain. So it's real outrage. By the way, we won that one.

Congratulations I guess? Must have been too exhausted from that fight to complain about it having been used at the border already, and totes not #BecauseTrump.

Of course not, no welfare. No need for welfare checks then.
