Marrone new HC

I'll be surprised if Danny Crossman isn't the next Jaguars Special Teams Coordinator/ Coach.

Quote:Another one. 8th in first downs given up per game. Pretty impressive stat considering the little help from the offensive side of the ball

This wasn't an average defense. This was a newly assembled defense that got off to a slow start, but once it started to gel it was one of the most formidable in the league.

So where do you think the jaguars defense ranked in terms of who has the best defense in the league?

Quote:@DraftCampbell #Jaguars hiring Doug Marrone is another mistake. Sources tell me he was a negative presence & undermined Gus Bradley cuz he wanted HC job.

Wow

I mean it's a guy from Walter Football so massive grain of salt. But if this is true it speaks to the rumored issues he had with Bills management in my opinion.

Anything with Bills Management after what I've seen recently I pay little attention to

I just got home and saw the news. I wanna puke. We hire a guy who was part of the problem to begin with after hiring an outside firm as a smokescreen like we were actually considering competent candidates. Then we add a guy to the front office who put us in cap hell when he was here before. This team is continuing with a losing mentality. I doubt we ever sniff the playoffs again in my lifetime. I'm so disappointed. I think I need to take a break from football for a while, to maintain my own mental health. I'm tired of being disappointed over and over by this team.

Tweeting Walter Footballs [BLEEP] now?

Im very disappointed in this team. We are desperate for a winning team and they continue to make moves to keep us in the cellar.

Asked Mike Kaye about the scheme with keeping Wash. His response:

@mike_e_kaye: I'd wager to say more likely it's a traditional 4-3 based on his comments towards end of the year. https://t.co/vT3xlBkBNP

It's not what everyone wanted but let's be honest, if they end up winning games, WHO CARES?

Everyone just wants to win and the team clearly went opposite of Gus. You got two disciplinary coaches running this team now. No more slouching and missing meetings.

Blake heard about everything that was said about him so he will go out and have a good offseason and be ready. ARob will be in a contract year. Add in Allen in the draft and a FA guard.... who knows. Maybe we win.

Yeah, he's not exciting so let's blow up saying the franchise is inept when we just hired Coughlin as VP who made this decision with Belichek also endorsing the hire.

Coughlin is a set of new eyes, this isn't Caldwell's hire. This isn't Shad's hire. This is Coughlin. I'm going to believe in what he does until he proves me he shouldn't.

If Marrone was outside this org., this hire would be seen in a totally different light (a good one).

if no one wanted it they wouldnt have wasted their time going to the interview...Just because the Jags said hey Mike...we want to interview you for HC, doesn't mean Mike has to say ok...If no one wanted it, no one would have said yeah sure ok when ya wanna do it?

Coughlin coming here was not planned from the start according to the 1010xl guys. Only happened over the last few days, he wasn't present for the McDaniels and Shanahan interviews. Hmmm

If one good thing comes from this, it's that I'll have more money in my pocket this year. I'm not gonna renew my NFL Sunday Ticket and that was killing me. It's almost as expensive as going to games.
