I think they go 6-10 next year regardless who they aquire via free agency/draft. Unless they find a good starting QB somewhere, it can change.

I just think the bad coaching on this team will far outweigh the talent that we have. One change(Marrone) will not overcome that.

But they haven't announced anything yet. It's speculation.

 

So far the only two things that are definitely happening are Marrone HC and Coughlin VP.

 

Maybe Hackett comes back but he then gets to run the offense he wants. Not Olsens.

right, because the draft and free agency has done wonders for us so far...  

 

Remember, we're keeping the same coaches that got us to where we are now.  Coughlin might bring in some really good talent, but the coaches are the same.  Not sure how much of an impact rookies are gonna have in 2017.  And FA's generally tend to shrivel up and die in the Jacksonville heat...

 

So yeah, don't expect some huge turn around when all you've done is re-arrange the chairs on the titanic.  

 

Coughlin is not roaming sidelines.  Coughlin will not be implementing the game plan.  Coughlin will not be coaching up the players during training camp and practices.  The same coaches that Gus Bradley brought in and have given us 3 wins in 2016 are going to be doing that...

 

Marrone is a mediocre HC.  That is an upgrade from Gus Bradley, to be sure.  But a mediocre HC gets us 6 maybe 7 wins next year.  He's not winning the Division.
