he still made decent runs and plays is mines.. If he gets 20 carries he is over 100 yds easily.. Point is everybody have bad games or even average games .. Look at Odell last weekend... All them drops... But he is still a great Wr .. And I bet every team would be happy to have him..

Here is a good highlight reel of LF, it starts getting good at .45.  He reminds me a lot of FT.  That is a grown man RB.

Lol, that was my point when people bring up LF games against Ala.  LSU lines got destroyed in those games.  No RB could of had success in those games.  Cook wouldnt of had over 100 yards on 20 carries in that Louisville game.  He had 16 carries

The best running back in the league, Le'veon Bell, was drafted in the 2nd round. Many other good/great running backs were taken in the 2nd round or later. Running back is a luxury pick in the 1st round meaning you probably shouldn't take one there unless your team is pretty solid all the way around and the RB is clearly the best player on the board. If the new front office feels strongly about a guy at 4 I'd be fine with it, but I wouldn't bet on us taking a RB at 4.

Quote:Negative... Fsu was losing big .. They didn't run him much... He still got 54yds on 16 totes.. You wanna know how much he ran for the next game?? ..... 267yds 2 TDs... So its not what u do over 1 game but all ...

He also was coming off a off season shoulder surgery, honesty he didn't look his self the first three games of the season even though he had decent stat line the first two.

Quote:Fornette was stuffed by Alabama, which is the closest thing to NFL talent he faced in college. Would be the Luke Joeckel of the 2017 draft if we took him at 4.

And Zeke Elliott was stuffed by the Giants in week 1 this season. 20 carries for 50 yards.

Fournette has a chance to be a completely ridiculous RB in the NFL. Someone we can rely on and just hand the rock to.

The first thing that needs to be done at the position is release Denard Robinson.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Agreed.

Still interested to see Corey Grant a little bit.

Quote:I think Ivory has a couple of good years left and I think there are good backs in this draft.

I'd prefer they focus on the guys blocking for those backs and pick up a back in the third or fourth round of the draft.
I hope they cut ivory.  Fumbled injury prone back

2016 was an outlier for him in both of those areas.

I prefer to judge him on his whole body of work.  Not just one season. He averaged two fumbles per season prior to 2016 when he coughed up 5.

Don't play like you knew that because if you did, you wouldn't of said 2016 was an outlier for him.  Good try though son!

I averaged all of his seasons prior to 2016.  The average is 2.

How the hell do you think I averaged the number w/o seeing that??? LOL.

He carried the rock 247 times in 2015.  Only 117 in 2016.  I'll still call it an outlier.

"averaged" meaning over the course of his career.

What does that have to do with my post?  The 2 seasons he had 0 fumbles he only started 2 games in each and only played in 6.  I would hope he didn't have 4 or 5 fumbles in those seasons

This league is a what have you done for me lately.  Not what did you do years ago.  9 fumbles the last 2 seasons is not very good.

It had everything to do with you acting like a clown as if you one upped someone on the internet. The poster above clearly had acknowledged that season. Changing the frame of the argument doesn't alter that.

Over the course of his career, Ivory has not had a fumbling problem. Being an aging RB tends to not be a cause for fumbles.

If Ivory doesn't correct the course, Coughlin will send him packing. Simple as.
