Quote:2015 article? lol You have to go wayyyy back to find a Chip Kelly offense that was actually good. Since you haven't been paying attention, apparently.

With those exact same players? Doubtful. Not to mention that article was written in September... Probably after week 3 or so. I get skepticism and its definitely deserving but I think Coughlin has a plan. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Well everyone says Bortles performed at his best when in "hurry up" or "2-minute mode"...
so there's that... I'm still a little confused about the naming of position coaches before an OC is officially hired... got our RB coach already... did Chip sign off, does it matter? Is the coach staff actually being built by TC more than Maronne?
I'm very skeptical of Kelly's adaptability and ability to tailor an offense to the strengths of his players.
I don't see Kelly's offense as being good for Blake unless Kelly actually makes an effort to think about individual players and not just X's and O's. Quote:Is he going to run that exact same offense? With those exact same players? I certainly hope so, and hope that he's right if he's pushing to bring Chip on board. Otherwise, we've spent a lot of time with a guy talking to him about two different positions and still haven't come to agreement.

Quote:As one of Blakes harshest critics this past season, I just have a feeling hes going to (successfully) overhaul his mechanics this off season, which will lead to improved accuracy at all levels of the field. I think this past year really stung him and he'll do whatever it takes to become a viable starting QB this level. Also, while accuracy is important in any scheme, the WR's in Chips scheme are often wide open due to the effectiveness of the run game, tempo, and overall deception of the offense, I don't think we'all see too many "tight window" type throws, i think Blake (assuming he's able to overall his mechanics) is a nice fit for this system. This is my feeling (hope) as well
Quote:Deshaun Watson anyone? Did you see how Mariota's season ended? How are RG3 and Kaepernick doing? I'd like a pass-first, run-third QB. Look at all the playoff QBs. Sure, Rapelsburger and Rodgers are mobile, but there aren't many designed runs in their offenses for a reason.

Quote:You have to go wayyyy back to find a Chip Kelly offense that was actually good. Since you haven't been paying attention, apparently.yeah 49ers only were 4th in the NFL in rushing. The eagles were top 10 rushing in his 1st 2 years there heck even made Nick Foles look good 27 touchdowns
Quote:Well everyone says Bortles performed at his best when in "hurry up" or "2-minute mode"... I've thought the same. Especially since I've read that Chip already has assistants lined up. Seems like the OC will have a say in "some" of the selections but his team will be built for him. Unless of course they are planning to keep Hackett. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Obviously I'd hope it works out but oh baby if it doesn't there will be sparks flying from every corner. I dont see the ticking time bomb, just have a few reservations about the Tim Tebow of coaches.

But also look at Dak and Wilson. They would seem to fit in the middle so to say. Maybe pass 1st run 2nd and a half, not neccesarily the 3rd option.

Hopefully our new Identity is Jacksonville: Just Jacksonville (And a Little London)
Added Alliterative Appeal, and an awesome way with winning the way we were when we were just the Jacksonville Jaguars: Expansion Franchise.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

It backs up the articles I posted. His running game is easily figured out and isn't sustainable. Eagles steady decline: 155.6, to 124.5, and back to the middle of the pack at 108.9 in just three years. 49ers: 126.2 one and done. 27th in points, 31st in yards, 32nd in passing yards. Effort wasted, as it did nothing to help win.
