Lang is a nice option of course but I hope Zeitler will be a priority for us.

Got hurt today, no word yet on how serious.

Saw an article where he thinks it's a broken foot. One he's had a problem with all year.  All things considered, that's not too bad. Of course he was also saying how badly he wants to be in GB next year.

Which is it?

He has a point. Jermey Parnell could be a serviceable backup. For all we know he might be better than other backup quality tackles (depending on what other teams do with theirs). In that scenario, do you want Tom Coughlin to cut him?

When an injury is so painful the player leaves the game in tears while riding on a cart, "not too bad" is completely false. I knew it was bad when I saw him crying with a towel over his face. But while watching replays, I thought he hurt his knee. The injured area became clear when his shoe and sock came off.

Something everyone needs to remember when talking about free agents in Green Bay is who controls the roster. Ted Thompson's reputation for retaining most of his players and rarely making a splash in FA is in T.J. Lang's favor. Lang said he loves Green Bay and being a Packer, that he wants to stay there, so a deal should get done. If for some reason it does not happen, I want Tom Coughlin to sign him ASAP.

I totally agree.

Every Bengals beat man and blogger I follow says Zeilter is by far the offseason's #1 priority and is a lock for a long term deal or franchise tag.

One more reason for Jaguars fans to want Lang if the Packers make him available.

Packers G T.J. Lang said he will have to pull out of the Pro Bowl because he's having hip surgery on Friday. That injury has bothered him all year, and now he's also dealing with an aggravation of his broken foot.

Well that's a really tough situation for him now.

Watching the Bengals for the last 30 some years here in Ohio, it's very hard for me to believe they would pay Zeitler around $16 million for one year, according to the franchise tag. I'm not saying they won't sign him long term before he hits free agency, but I highly doubt they would tag him. That's just not something the Bengals would typically do. Instead, I believe Dre Kirkpatrick would be a more likely option for the tag, especially since rumors are swirling that the Bengals will cut ties with Adam Jones after his latest arrest. Cincinnati is thin at the CB position and if Jones is cut, re-signing Kirkpatrick might be a priority.

"There is no such thing as a bad one year deal"

The franchise tag number for offensive line last year was 13.7 million...and I'm assuming he was giving that the expected annual bump. I don't think it will jump quite that high, but point remains.
