Bridgewater and Clowney are gone, who do you take?

Barr or Mack. I like Mack better too but that's just my opinion. Trade back if there is a good offer.

I think the season played out perfectly, if you wind up with a pick at 1 or 2 it's tough to trade back, but at 3 it's easier, I predict we trade back at least once if not twice and pick around 15-20

This time last year the top 10 projected as:

Geno Smith (projected 1st, went 39th overall)
Jarvis Jones (projected 2nd, went 17th overall)
Star Lotulelei (projected 3rd, went 14th overall)
Luke Joeckel (projected 4th went 2nd overall)
Damontre Moore (projected 5th, went 81st overall)
Mike Glennon (projected 6th, went 73rd overall)
Manti Te'o (projected 7th, went 38th overall)
Dee Milliner (projected 8th, went 9th overall)
Taylor Lewan (projected 9th, didn't declare)
Bjoern Werner (projected 10th, went 24th overall).

A lot can change.

I never saw Mike Glennon projected in the top 10. But your point still stands

Quote:Barr sucks. Athletic freak, yes. But he doesnt understand how to play football. If he doesnt run around the tackle hes done.

Yes this is exactly right when I watch his games he can not get off blocks and only has an outside speed rush with no other pass rush moves he has bust written all over him he is not a round 1 player reminds me of dion Jordan from last year with the hype he's getting.

Well said.

If Caldwell can somehow manufacture another 3rd round pick, that would be great.

Getting as many 1st-3rd round picks is critical.  Maybe There's a team willing to trade for Marcedes Lewis (Patriots maybe?)...

Our team is bad enough that a guy drafted in the 3rd round should be a starter instantly.

The Bills where projected a different Qb every week. Glennon, Barkley, Wilson, Smith, Manuel and whoever else.

FA is gonna give us a lot of answers as well all on here know...IF we went after someone like Orakpo then Barr wouldn't be the choice since Im assuming they would both play the LEO spot.

I think for a team like the Jags, we will be glued to the combine and school workouts followed by private workouts more this year than we normally would(as fans). All the QBs should be in play, but assuming we don't sign Orakpo I would have to think that it will be Barr...Mack might be the guy should he have a solid all star game and workouts. I wouldn't hate the idea of trading back and getting Barr or Mack later... While it wont happen unless we trade back, I wouldn't mind Sammy Watkins...but we still couldn't get him the ball.

my ideal mock as of today and it will change:

Clowney slides to 3 DE

Shazier slides to 39 (aint happening) OLB

3rd rd: Zach Mettenberger QB

4th: Dom Easley DT

4th: Andre Williams RB

5th: David Fales QB

5th: Bene Bekwikeri CB

5th: Bryan Stork OC

6th: Brandon Thomas OG

7th: Chaz Sutton DE

Dreaming I know, but its still early....

I still think Carr will end up being one of the best QBs this draft has to offer.

Mack if you can't trade down.

This team needs so much help I like the trade back idea some have suggested but if we are stuck there Bortles or Barr I would be fine with.

For me it would be Carr > Bortles > Mack > Barr.
