So Andrew Luck is just above-average

He still tends to make a lot of crappy throws. That'll wear off eventually, though. Bright future ahead of him assuming Indy can adequately protect him.

What QB doesn't?

Also, should/could had 2 more TD passes today that were dropped. Fleener dropped one & so did Griff.

Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees when he's in the dome. Guys Andrew Luck is supposed to be the heir to.

He should've been picked off at least four times in the first meeting with the Jaguars, and no one was even touching him that game. The most recent game, the Jaguars defense completely laid down to the point where even Henne probably could've walked down the field like Luck did.

I'm not saying he's a bad QB, I'm saying he still makes a lot of dumb throws. Like I said, he's young, it'll wear off. I still expect him to at least be a top 5 QB next year.

Luck is absolutely not in the category of the 4 you just mentioned yet.

Also, I have no idea what you're trying to say in the bolded part.

And like I said ALL QBs make mistakes & dumb throws, and yes even the QBs you mentioned in your first post do.

You're right, not yet, hence "supposed to be the heir to". But like I said, he'll be there eventually.

You said Luck should've had two more TDs. Context would dictate that I'm insinuating that anyone would've had the game Luck had against the Jaguars in week 17. I'm not even sure why you even mentioned it in the first place.

I never said those QBs didn't make dumb throws. I said they don't make a lot of them, and they don't, but Luck does. You come off as slightly defensive and I'm not sure why.

Actually, I was quite exact opposite. I'm assuming you got that from when I said "I have no idea what you're trying to say in the bolded part", which I honestly didn't know what you meant.

There would be no reason for me to be defensive/hostile towards you. I save that for lastonealive Tongue

1.) Manning

2.) Brady

3.) Brees

4.) Rodgers

5.) Rivers

6.) Roethlisburger

7.) Romo (Good regular season guy, he messes up a lot, but still think he has the edge over the still inexperienced Luck)

8.) Luck

That's where I think he stands this season. Matt Ryan and Eli Manning would be higher than him usually, but this year, he was the better QB. Below that you'll find the Flacco, Kaepernick, Cutler, Matthew Stafford, etc.

Luck's made strong progress and improved his decision making immensely in these two years. Can he take the next step? We will see. Winning later today would be very beneficial to him though.

With the list you put Redsky, I'd put Luck at #6. I'd easily take Luck over Romo & Roethlisberger. JMO.

That's a fair judgement. I'd probably take Luck also. Luck is without a doubt a top ten QB in the NFL, and anyone who thinks otherwise are kidding themselves.

I'd put Luck ahead of Romo, easily, but not ahead of Ben yet. Soon....but not yet. 2 SB have to account for something. I'd also put Luck ahead of Rivers.

Luck is not better than Phillip Rivers. Or at least Phillip Rivers right now. He's ballin' this year.

Rivers has had a nice year. Thats what some nice weapons will do for you. What did Rivers do last year? Give Luck Keenan Allen, Gates, that other rookie TE, Vincent Brown, woodhead, and some of their other contributors....Luck would outproduce him. He's already out winning him with a vastly inferior offensive personnel.

Alex Smith is outshining him so far today.  Alex "game manager" Smith.

Congrats.  Luck played really well in the second half!

Hard to give them much credit when the Chiefs lost like 4 or 5 starters.

Yeah I've never seen such a perfect storm of good luck. The horse shoe and QB named Luck really does provide some help.
