3rd overall pick

(This post was last modified: 12-30-2013, 03:10 AM by The Mad Dog.)

Quote:I wouldn't completely forget Mariota.he recently requested his draft grade.Draft is still far away.Possible he could change his mind if his grade is high

Mariota is trash.

Quote:T.Y. Hilton 2012 3rd round pick, 92nd overall.

Coby Fleener 2012 2nd round pick, 34th overall.

Trent Richardson 2012 1st round pick, 3rd overall.

Donald Brown 2009 1st round pick, 27th overall. (You absolutely loved this guy out of college)

Darrius Heyward-Bey 2009 1st round pick, 7th overall.

With Reggie Wayne and Dwayne Allen (2012 3rd round pick, 64th overall), that is not a bad supporting cast.

They have all proven to be disappointments for the most part.

I even liked some of them, like Donald Brown, but they really haven't panned out.

As for me wanting Heyward Bey like someone said, wanting a player for a cheap deal thats a low risk high reward type isn't the same thing as labeling the player as a stud, which you are insinuating,

Luck has very little weapons on offense after Wayne went down to injury,

Quote:Even if it ended up being Carr and Bortles he would complain. He said he would "love for that to happen" and if it actually happened, we'd see his agenda flip faster than his burgers at work.

I don't like Carr at all. Bortles maybe.

You're a joke all you do is spout garbage and half truths if truth at all.

3rd pick is a good spot. There is going to be talent available. Gotta pick the right guy!

3rd is a good place to be! There will be a talented player there worth taking or trading with someone to jump down and get a few more draftees.

We should rake in a solid class of draftees and hopefully a few supporting FAs that can patch holes.

Oh ... wait ... nevermind .....

WE GOHN DIEZZ!! OH NOESS!!! There be onlay 2 Guhd playirs in du darft!

You're Welcome.

All we had to do was lose one more game and we would be picking first.

Once again, I blame Gabbert. He could've led us to our franchise QB and salvation, but he's just that Gabbad

i'm happy with 3

the three best prospects right now at positions of need seem to be bridgewater barr and clowney.

added even if we hate both of these de's ( i need to watch more of both as I've been watching more qbs thus far) and the rams trade with the browns who grab a qb too there will still be a qb or a talented wide receiver on the board.

I don't like carr or manziel but bortles is a possibility at 3 i really really like him but he is a pretty big reach, mack is a talent at olb and could possibly be snatched if we traded down evans is a big old beast and watkins seems to be rapid.

It's a good pick in a draft with lots of top tier talent. I'm happy.

Don't worry TMD. Clowney will definitely bust with that name.

Manziel is garbage and is never coming here. Anyone who would even want that to happen should feel bad for being so bad at evaluating QBs.

That last one was a typo. I meant Barr and Bortles because I was referencing your prior post of saying you would "love" Barr in the 1st and Bortles in the 2nd. If it actually happened, though, you would find something to complain about.

Quote:Who is Clev trading up to get? They wont trade of for Clowney, only way they trade up is if Bridgewater falls, but the thing is the Rams have a bunch of picks as is, I think they just pick the guy they want.

Cleveland could easily trade up for a QB, whether Bridgewater, Carr, or Bortles.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

i think carr suits their offense best with his deep ball ability, which is fine by me

With more bowl games, the Senior Bowl, other all-star/draft games, the Combine, and personal workouts still to come, the first round board will change. The 3rd pick in the draft will deliver a very good selection of players for the Jags to choose from.

Think I'm starting to warmup to Bortles.

Lets say Bridgewater and Clowney are 1-2 then I would be happy with Barr or say Bortles if he declares
