So, judging from the few responses I've read, we no longer want to allow peaceful protesting because these "snowflakes" need to get over their concerns?


My wife went to the march. It wasn't just for people in this country--it was women's rights worldwide.


Look, the fact is, our new President has said a great many things that have shown he has little respect for women in general. When the leader of your country says things like that, it makes people afraid that he might act on his beliefs and turn back the clock.


Apart from that, conservatives in general have galvanized behind him and pretty much defend his every word and act at this point. So not only do we have a leader who seems pretty sexist, we have people who are now backing him wholeheartedly regardless of what he says or does.


It wasn't necessarily about campaigning fot equal rights; it was a statement that women matter, their rights matter, and they are worthy of respect. My wife is pro-life (which goes much deeper than birth) and went because she agreed with pretty much everything else.


The protest wasn't anti-Trump. It was just to make a statement about things that these people feel matter and need to be kept in mind.


As an aside, a rule of the march was not to leave garbage afterward--something my wife is absolutely furious about.


And by the way, good for Trump for his tweet about the protest. He handled that very well, and I agree completely with what he said.

No one has said anything like that. They have their right to protest (peaceably and without violating the rights of those around them) and I have my right to make fun of them for the senselessness of what they are doing. Millions of women showing up to a protest for women's rights that aren't in danger created by a woman who wants Sharia Law in America...talk about cutting of your nose to spite your husband.

They're not protesting anything of true substance when it comes to women's rights and their plight's around the world. However, Fifty of the primary organizers for this march yesterday were founded or funded by George Soros himself. If you don't know who that man is you haven't been paying attention. If the Devil really exists, Soros is the man he'd tap on the shoulder personally to ruin the social, economical and political nature of an entire Nation.

 

Also, the primary organizer in D.C is a woman by the name of Linda Sarsour. She's pro Sharia Law, which is the very opposite of women's rights and she also has old ties to Hamas. Go figure. But most women, especially my fellow brainwashed millennial dodo's aren't aware that it's a political move more than an actual humanitarian move.

 

In fact, many women who were marching for the true reasons, especially white women who were pro - Trump, were obviously feeling unwelcome as soon as they realized this was just another attack on the current president rather than the good for all women on our entire planet. The agenda that was laid out by many of these organizers ended up flipping them on their heads as they arrived for the protests. Pretty sad most just went along though blindly because of some catchy hashtags without actually investigating or digging into who was behind all of these movements. 

 

Listen. I am not the biggest fan of Donald Trump. Didn't see eye to eye on many things he ran for. Quite honestly, I think most of them are too lofty and unrealistic. But I am at least trying to give the man a chance. Just like this country has asked over and over again for decades. Regardless of my political views, beliefs and lack of faith in our system. I still pay attention to what these people have to say as it truly has the ability to impact us all. 

 

But with how things are looking. I don't see this kind of behavior or approach stopping or slowing down anytime soon without staunch counter resistance by his own administration
. They're trying to bait him into further stupidity via twitter banter and decision making. I just have a sinking feeling he's never going to make it until 2020.

 

There's a good chance they find a way to either impeach him or just flat out assassinate him. I know the latter sounds extreme. But, this is the new Democratic and Liberal party we're talking about today. You quite honestly can't even fully trust the Republican party while he's in office as well. All bets are off. As long as men like George Soros are hanging around with 12+ billion dollars to play with in the political field. He's not safe. Our country's future is especially not safe. 

I was pretty disturbed by what was on the signs etc. at that womens march. P@$$% Power? Really? That's your message of empowerment? 'Nasty Girls' etc. Just vulgar stuff. And of course, some start getting violent and rioting.

 

I had a friend on FB post her photos, and hash-tagging a bunch of nonsense, her stuff wasn't that graphic but it was stupid. Why would she want to be associated with this garbage. She was obviously very excited about the march and was acting like she was in Birmingham in 1964 with MLK. But that's not what happened at all. She literally did nothing for women anywhere. And the 'protesters' she marched with disgraced women to a large extend.

 

MLK would have never had anything like what DC had 'protesting' associated with him.  I don't know what is wrong with these people, but it disturbs me the direction they are going. All these violent outbursts (over literally nothing) will give the government the excuse it needs to become really paternalistic (despotic). I understand the Hegelian conflict, but still, its sad to see people line up and embrace it so easily, especially in my 'generation.'
