NFL.com 3 round mock

#1

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...-to-browns

Reuter has the Jags getting Jon Allen, Antonio Garcia, and Bucky Hodges. Assuming Allen's shoulders are cleared medically that would be an awesome threesome.

Garcia has the size and nasty to play RT for me. Some of those vines that were posted of his run blocking were downright dominant. Plenty of people have already put him in their first round, though.

Hodges is basically this year's Julius Thomas so that would be a nice spot to get a needed impact player and we could save some money to get that big money FA IOL we need.

Not a fan of this one; but it's really early. If Watson goes #1 overall, I think I'll poop my pants.....
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

First two I like.

Not a Bucky Hodges fan at all. Too many drops.

I know it's not happening but I want Cook in the 1st round. If we have to face Cook on Indy twice a year though, I'll pull my hair out.

A TE over a RB? No. Fail.

The worst part about this draft is that McCaffrey one spot before us in the 2nd.  Allen and McCaffrey in the first 2 rounds is probably as good as it gets.  I really like Jamal Adams though.  Adams and McCaffrey is really good too

I'd take Foreman, Williams, or Jackson above Bucky Hodges

Won't be there unfortunately.

I'm not saying Hodges would be my top pick of those guys available, that would be Tim Williams (who is going to be loooong gone because the off field stuff is being overblown according to the insiders at the senior bowl) followed by Eddie Jackson probably.

I think he meant based on this mock. I was thinking the same thing, but I agree that in reality, be probably won't still be there.

I'm not sure I really see Tim Williams as having a good pro career.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Oh yeah that makes more sense perhaps.

That's right. I was basing it on this mock draft. No doubt that if he excels at the combine and personal workouts that he'll easily go in the first round.

Mahomes is really the only quarterback in this draft that I'd consider for the Jaguars. It looks like a weak q.b. class overall and nobody is worth taking with the 4th pick of the draft. My hope is, since Mahomes won't be there, that the Jaguars get a middle of the road guy in free agency who can compete with Bortles and possibly Allen. Not sure who the best one is, but there is no way they should give up a 1st for Garropalo or 2nd/3rd for McCarron.

So much this. Wouldnt mind Cook or J.Allen in the first. Not a huge Fournette fan.

But as other posters have said Mahomes wont be there in rd 2.

Jamal Adams or Malik Hooker in the first if Allen isn't the pick. I think Malik Jackson is in for a good year and I think we can get away with beachum at LT this year. So shoring up the interior lines and a DB should be our priority if we don't ditch Bortles. As much as I would love Fournette or Cook, I think we can find great value in the mid rounds.

Based on their new draft tracker I'd rather see all of the following through each round:

1. Leonard Fournette - RB

2. Gareon Conley - CB

3. Pat Elflein - C

4. Garrett Bolles - OT

5. Gerald Everett- TE

6. Josh Tupou - DT

7. Jordan Sterns - SS
