But I'm trading down because of OL

Quote:I said it before and I'll say it again, OJ Howard at 4 would be a better pick than Cook or Fournette.
You crazy man. OJ Howard was compared to Julius Thomas. What has Julius Thomas done as a Jaguar, nothing much. Peyton made him look good.

I was really looking forward to watching all 3 of those guys, especially Lamp and Siragusa.

Do you know any guards that are expected to be Top 10 picks?

We got them last year. With 7 draft picks, we don't need to trade for more to finish upgrading depth.

G/T/SS/DE/RB

Theres free agency and 7 rounds in a draft for 5 positions. We dont need to trade down. If an offer presents itself that is good, sure. But trading due to necessity isnt accurate.

If we're truly as close to winning as the echo chamber that is our front office keeps telling us, then we especially don't need to trade down. We just need to polish the team off with a stud FA or two and hit on a beast at #4 and it's hello playoffs.

If you're referring to Ramsey and Ngakoue, yes, they are very good, but you do realize that you need 2 sometimes 3 CB's on the field, depending upon the scheme you run?  We also we need 2 solid DE's. Not just one. With the probable change in schemes, we would be wise to move Fowler Jr. to OLB where he should have been all along. He's way too inconsistent as a pass rusher. He always has been. That leaves huge openings at CB and DE.

We need another CB as wel,l even if we do re-sign Prince. If we don't, the need becomes even bigger. We have zero depth at OT and OG as well. On top of needing a starting RT and LG, we also need a decent swing Tackle to come in and play during injuries as well as, at least one decent backup OG. They don't need to be starters, but at least guys who won't get our QB killed and who can open some holes in the run game. I never rely on free agency, because players have reasons for going to certain teams and it isn't always money related. We can't just rely on getting the best FA's, because we have a ton of money available.

I don't believe anything this team says. They said we were going to be a playoff team last year and we won 3 games. C'mon people, think for yourselves, not what the team tells you. Don't get hoodwinked again.

Whether you like it or not, in the real world free agents are getting signed so im not sure what kind of argument that is. So 5 starting positions and 4 back ups between free agency and a 7 round draft? Yeah that doesn't require a trade down.

Nobody in the front office said we will be a playoff team. They only talked about having "high expectations." The media said it will be playoffs or bust for Gus Bradley.

Well no,but why do we have to stay in the top 10? I mean if we took Feeney at 15-20 I would love it. I am definitely biased

It is impossible to pick only 5 players in a 7 round draft unless we trade up. Add free agency and we get more than 9 players.
