Do you want Bortles to succeed?

Hey, we're only 6.5 months away from preseason MVP Blake!
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:Leftwich had an incredibly strong arm. Even without proper fundamentals Come on man you're reaching now and just say you hate Blake and get it over with because you made this for everyone else to inflate your argument ![]() Quote:Come on man you're reaching now and just say you hate Blake and get it over with because you made this for everyone else to inflate your argumentI like Blake actually. Not reaching at all, I'm worried about his route to be coming a top flight QB though. Trying to see has there been any QB with mechanics as bad as Bortles and threw it as badly as he did (i.e Ducks, bad accuracy, bad veloctiy) this year but ended up being a good QB. Just so happens the two names people have said (Leftwich+Favre) ain't the same as what Bortles was this year so they are discredited. Any other suggestions? Quote:I'm sure he coaching Favre got (I'm talking after Atlanta gave up on him) was the same level of coaching Bortles got. I'd imagine it was much better. Doesn't help us answer this question though Nate dogg We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Hey, we're only 6.5 months away from preseason MVP Blake! Come to think about it, I don't recall any of the resident QB fundamental gurus on the board talking about any issues though preseason....or even after the Green Bay game. It may be because the issues were much less pronounced, and then less pronounced weeks 16 and 17. Quote:I like Blake actually. You needed to throw the good QB caveat in. Cause you can name Leftwich and Tebow. Favre's bad mechanics were just lazy off base throws. His arm action, release point, and speed of release were as good as anyone's. Blake has the entire package of bad mechanics so Favre doesn't work as an example. Quote:I think literally the only two disappointments so far are Fowler, and (nitpicking in general) Bortles' mechanics being loopier than ever. On the 17 yarder to Arob and the TD to Hurn he dropped the ball so low... Quote:Come to think about it, I don't recall any of the resident QB fundamental gurus on the board talking about any issues though preseason....or even after the Green Bay game. That was me after preseason week 2. At the time I thought I was nitpicking because the results of that game were good, little did I know... Quote:You needed to throw the good QB caveat in.
