Marshon Lattimore
|
I think I would like to officially tab him my second favorite choice at #4 after Adams. Best pure cover guy in years and years, some say since Revis. Having our own version of Talib/Harris Jr. for the next decade makes my mouth water.
Use the Amukamara money to sign Jefferson or Swearinger then add JPP and this defense is suddenly pretty terrifying. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
it would be cool to see a "big board" from you just to see who you label as the elite prospects coming out this year.
I would definitely not be opposed to getting another shut down corner. If you are Coughlin and company and label Lattimore equal or better than Ramsey as a corner - he would make a great pick. I need to see what he officially measures at the combine - he looks smaller and shorter than Ramsey.

If Lattimore is a top 5 talent, why is this the first time anyone suggested picking him at #4?
When KY shows me all of the mock drafts have Marshawn Lattimore listed in that range, I will believe him. This is obviously one of those "I want this guy and fear he won't be available at #35" threads. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:If Lattimore is a top 5 talent, why is this the first time anyone suggested picking him at #4?KY is just bringing up another player to take in consideration, it's not like there's a rule that only players who are mocked in the top 5 must go in the top 5 or are not worth it. But since you asked it, there you go, Daniel Jeremiah mocks him at 2 at 49ers: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...in-round-1 Quote:I think I would like to officially tab him my second favorite choice at #4 after Adams. Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:Just follow a guy called Justis on twitter. KY gets most of his draft takes from there, including this one. Bingo. A few days ago he was saying someone else at 4....Coincidentally now...

Quote:Mocks are just peoples opinions just like this. It doesn't matter where mocks have him. That is why I usually don't read them. But if most draft analysts have a certain player slotted at the same pick or are very close, they hold more weight than anything kYjaggy says.

But if most draft analysts have a certain player slotted at the same pick or are very close, they hold more weight than anything kYjaggy says.More weight on what, where someone will go or where someone should go. Because the first one is just an educated guess but it doesnt really matter. The second one shouldnt have more weight towards media, media opinions dont mean any more than anyone else.
Quote:More weight on what, where someone will go or where someone should go. Based on the fact that guys like Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks directly talk to anonymous scouts, executives etc. who are paid to evaluate players.

Quote:I hate when people use anonymous sources. How do we know the information is real if it can't be credited to someone in particular? Don't you understand why names and employers (and sometimes job titles) are omitted in articles draft prospects? That specific information can put somebody on the unemployment line.
Quote:Don't you understand why names and employers (and sometimes job titles) are omitted in articles draft prospects? Right, but it also allows people to write fake stories, because they don't have to attribute them to any source. It's basically gossip. Quote:Just follow a guy called Justis on twitter. Justis is one of my favorite follows for DL evals, but definitely not cornerbacks.
I think he's someone they'll definitely look at. Really good DB prospect. If we sign Amukamura though, I don't see us drafting him.

Its funny because I follow the same guys as you on twitter so its easy to see when you're just parroting what they say on any given day. Anyway, he good.

It's a tough decision...but I think I'd rather have a defensive backfield of ramsey, Prince, adams, and Gipson than a backfield of ramsey, lattimore, Cyp, and gipson
