Marshon Lattimore

Is that a knock on Cyprien, who actually was not bad last year?

Nah the ~10 mil saved with not needing Prince would go toward signing a much better SS than Cyp. Perhaps Jefferson or Swearinger as I suggested.

The knock on Cyprien is that when he's tasked with covering an above average TE he's often unable to force incompletions.

Outside of that - he did in fact play pretty well last year.

What makes you think we don't need Prince? And where did you get $10 million from?

Not really a knock, just think prince is a good enough number 2, you don't need a superstar number 2 corner to cover the 2nd best wr on a team. And adams is Cyprien that can cover

Cyprien did cover last year.

Not well enough in the eyes of many fans  --  and if you watch Adams' college video you'd likely agree that he projects to be better in coverage than Cyprien.

I never watch player videos. I don't scout players. I just watch football to root for or against teams.

And if you watch jaguars football you will see Cyprien is not very good in coverage

I watch Jaguars football and see #37 is much better now than he used to be. Not good enough, but decent.

I'd rather not settle for decent. It's sickening that we have been so bad for so long that our fans are willing to settle for that

I never said I want to settle for decent. We do need to upgrade the position.

This stuck out to me too. Of all the potential safeties on the market, why Swearinger?

well ideally if you give up prince you take the money you intended to give him and give it to a better strong safety

He had a really good year in zona

He had his best year as a pro, but there are plenty of other safeties I'd pursue over him in free agency.

He's probably third best after Berry, who won't hit the market, and Jefferson. He was elite in coverage this year, and he's always been able to lay the wood in run coverage.

Only knock is that he's only done it this one year.
