He probably is thinking about money with Eric Berry.

We loaded up on pass rushers last year and have a lot of money. You don't know if he is seeking $14 million. If Bouye wanted to be a Jaguar, we would be smart to go after him.

The contract for a top corner whos 26 years old is 13-14. Id say its all but certain he gets that much.

And no we didnt load up on pass rushers, we added two of them. Do our sack totals reflect a line that is loaded up with pass rushers?

Janoris is getting 12.5, Darius Slay is getting 12, Joe Haden is getting 13.5 and the next 4 highest are getting 14-15. So Bouye is definitely getting 14.

Count the players we added, not the sacks. You know sacks are not everything, right?

We added two players of any significance. And after adding those two players we still arent getting enough contact on quarterbacks. Sacks arent everything, but theyre important and more often than not reflective of a good line that can affect opposing qbs. And were not doing that well enough, not even close enough to compete with top teams.

Having 2 of them out there is a scary thought I had not considered. It wouldn't even matter if you tried to not throw at Ramsey. Would we play a lot more Man to Man then?

Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

Two of who?

It depends on how flexible the coaches are.

He had a good season, but I'd be leery of giving Swearinger a long term deal after it came four years into his career and that fact he was really bad beforehand. Not to mention this only came after he joined a pretty good defense and a stacked backfield.

Depending on what Dallas does, one of Barry Church and JJ Wilcox should be available. Church is more of a win now player, but he's been a very good strong safety over the past several seasons. Wilcox, similar to Swearinger, also finally put it together and had himself a nice season. He'd be a similar gamble, but he is more athletically gifted than DJ and didn't wear out his welcome with two teams. TJ McDonald is also going to be a free agent and he's been fairly consistent since he's been in the league. Not to mention that he's the same age as Swearinger. A sleeper pick for me would be Micah Hyde. He's a versatile player and the fact he hasn't been a featured player may make him a cost effective option.

mcdonald to me is just a bigger cyrprien. Micah Hyde is trash. Wilcox is okay, but i dont think his season was better than swearingers.

Micah Hyde is not "trash" but definitely should be a backup wherever he goes if the Packers don't keep him.

McDonald is a better version of Cyprien. If we decide to stay primarily cover one, McDonald would make a lot of sense.

I seriously think you're underrating Micah Hyde. Despite only starting a total of 33 games over his four year career, he's accounted for 14 turnovers (eight interceptions and six fumble recoveries) as well as averaging about 60 total tackles per season. He also has 4.0 sacks in career. That doesn't even account for his versatility (ability to play safety, cornerback and return punts) as well as his penchant for showing up in big games this season when Green Bay needed it. Hyde is only 6", 200lbs, so he'd only be an option if we'd move to a cover two scheme.

As I said, Wilcox is a similar gamble as Swearinger, but he is a better athlete and isn't on his third team in four seasons.

I think people underrate Micah Hyde because simply because he is 1/4 of Green Bay's secondary. He was not the player teams will look for as a starting CB, but has done some good things for the Packers.

If Prince is not resigned, he would be in play but I think we would sign a FA CB if that happens tho

Casserly on nfl.com in his first mock today had Lattimore going to the Bears at 3.

Seems like the buzz around this guy is growing.
