NFL.com 3 round mock

#21

Quote:Based on their new draft tracker I'd rather see all of the following through each round:

1. Leonard Fournette - RB

2. Gareon Conley - CB

3. Pat Elflein - C

4. Garrett Bolles - OT

5. Gerald Everett- TE

6. Josh Tupou - DT

7. Jordan Sterns - SS

I have Bolles and Elflein as late 1st to early 2nd round picks.

Bolles for sure will go 1st or early 2nd. It wouldn't shock me to see Elflein available with our 3rd rounder though.

The Browns and Bengals are both desperately in need of a Center and I've heard that New England is interested as well. He's one of the best Centers to enter the draft in quite a while, I cannot see any way he last until round 3.

Wouldn't shock me either.  Centers tend to be available in the 3rd.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Jeremiah's new mock has Lattimore at #2 and also a lot more surprises like Kamara in the first, pretty surprising.

Do you think Lamp would be available in RD2?

That'd be ideal.

In a few mocks I've seen so far either Feeney or Lamp end up in the second.

Definitely hope that'll be the case but i seriously doubt it, just like Ryan Kelly & co. last year.

I read on bleacher report that the jags are high on Lamp but they'd probably have to trade up from their 2nd to the late first or trade down from 4 to get him at the right value.

I like that one too, but I'm afraid Conley goes late in the first and Bolles will be gone long before the fourth round starts. Maybe even late second.

Bolles might be the first tackle taken in the first

I guess it's possible. We can certainly agree he won't be sitting there for the Jags' fourth round pick as the mock we were referencing suggested.

Yeah, it's kinda doubtful Bolles even makes it to 35...and Everett is looking like a 2nd rounder himself. Definitely gone by the end of day 2.

I definitely don't expect bolles to last anywhere close to that long either.

If we did come away with that haul I'd be very pleased though.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I believe Lamp or Feeney will be available for the Jags with pick 35, maybe even both. No need to trade back into the 1st round. As good as these 2 guys are, guards just don't get taken that high in most drafts. Unless the Jaguars get 2 top guards in free agency (very unlikely), I'd be very surprised if they don't address this position in the 2nd round.
