BLM again...

Quote:And BLM denounced Micah Johnson how hard is that to comprehend.

Blm is the reason we had Ferguson and Baltimore and St Paul and San Diego and Dallas and Baton Rouge and on and on and on with the violence. Rioters is what they are, criminals on a wide scale.

Nope, better to wallow in generationl misery and turn to violence instead.

And the BLM movement condemned all acts of violence.

You are really desperate to believe your own customized narrative at this point.

BLM is not a new thing, it is a clever rebranding of the same Black Liberation ideology that has been prevalent since the 1960s.

When you hear them chanting "we have nothing to lose but our chains." Do you know where that chant comes from? The Cofounder of BLM, Alicia Garza, openly admits that it is taken from Assata Shakur, a Black Liberation nutjob who murdered a cop, is on the FBIs most wanted terrorists list, and is currently hiding from the US government in Cuba.

From the get go, this organization has blood on its hands. If we want to actually discuss police brutality or the justice system, I am open to that, but this organization is dangerous. I think many of the BLM supporters are just concerned with the police brutality, but they are being used as pawns in this dangerous ideology.

How does BLM condemn the violence of the cop killing fugitive Assata Shakur at the same time it celebrates her?

Blocking a highway is an act of violence.  It is domestic terrorism to prevent citizens from traveling on public roads.

What if those things I mentioned were institutionalized and part of the very fabric of society for hundreds of years? 1964 didn't end systemic racism. 1984 didn't end systemic racism. 2004 didn't end it. 2017 didn't. We still got people like you, telling people like me these problems don't exist.

For you it will never end.

Quote:Let me ask you something...how often have you heard about BLM members doing something good for blacks or society in general? Would the media report on a food drive, donation event, community empowerment event, youth outreach, events with local churches? Would it even be newsworthy? If you are not black, or don't keep up with black issues or BLM you probably wouldn't hear about the things I just outlined.
The media isn't interested in showing good deeds, they're interested in controversy because sadly that it what passes for news these days. Like mentioned below, where is all the social media on all the good news related to BLM and on a larger scale. The grand scale is needed in something like this because again the message gets lost with all the radicals showing their stupidity and the media giving them front page, above the fold coverage.

Quote:That is a very good point. Where are these good things happening? If there are good things happening then why aren't those members in leadership positions getting the information out instead of making themselves and the "movement" look ignorant and dumpster worthy? You would think with how fast news travels on social media there would be a glimpse of something positive. Something on a grand scale, not just cousin Terrance, who says he is affiliated with BLM, giving away a few ice creams. Scholarships, housing projects, community center building, community outreach, etc. Seems to be some reason BLM hasn't been connected to a legitimate civic leader or a vocal part of local government.

The Police force in all the major cities where protest are held disagree, otherwise there would be mass arrests.

Many people of my generation denounce the violent tactics of the Black panthers but celebrate their social initiatives.

No, most police officers believe that they should be removed with force (if necessary). Most cities, however, are run by chiefs that serve as pawns for the mayors and/or commissioners that worry about getting reelected. If you left it to the police force, they'd have been removed within minutes.

Quote:So police brutality isn't a real thing? Blacks didn't have civil rights til 53 years ago. So, everything good now?

It definitely exists. It just doesn't exist at the level you seem to believe it does. Also, just because you believe something to be police "brutality", it doesn't mean that it is.

Thats a poor excuse to make.

Are you against people having civil right and the ability to assemble freely and peacefully to protest civil rights violations?

I'm all for peaceful assembly, BLM is rarely that.

The comment below explains exactly what I meant when I mentioned the KKK. I don't believe BLM began as a racist entity at all but it has become such with the radical element with their actions hijacking the original message.

What do you think of black people who protest peacefully?
