Trump Press Conference - Finally Someone Presidential On The Podium

Quote:It has never seemed to bother Trump at all.  In fact, if you read his book, it's a key part of his business strategy.

It worked well for him in the election.  I may be wrong, but I'll bet that he spent the least amount of money ever within the last decade or so on his campaign as far as advertising.  The media was basically his "advertising" without even knowing or realizing it.

Meanwhile the LOSER Hillary spent millions if not billions on false/fake advertising.

Not sure if you are a stupid person? Do you like Trump? If the answer is yes, then you are a stupid person. Still need confirmation? Think back on your time in high school. I know that's difficult but try. Do you remember making good grades? No? Well there you go.
So, now liberals care about academic results?  I had outstanding grades in HS and college.  I continue to excel in my professional life.  Next time you serve my food at a local restaurant, try not to spit in it.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I don't question his candidate strategy since it absolutely worked.  I question his current strategy as President.  He doesn't need to make stuff up and shoot from the hip.

She's whacked too.  I voted for her only in the general election but really don't miss her one bit.

Quote:Exactly. He's working hard along with the team that he's putting in place to solve the problems in our country. Unfortunately, one side of the political aisle is doing nothing but impeding progress and the media doesn't report it fairly.

His cabinet is only "a mess" right now because of the delays and obstruction by democrats in confirming them. Small minded fake scientists like you expect results almost immediately. Did you not listen to or hear what he said in his press conference? Work and plans are being put in place for the wall. Getting rid of the mess that is 0bamacare won't come until the middle of the year. That has to do with budget obligations more than anything.

The <del>"progressive leaning"</del> fake news outlets are fixated on the fact that he played them like a fiddle in the press conference. He was right. If you looked at headlines this morning on the fake news sites, it was all about him putting the press in their place. There wasn't much said about what he is actually doing, nothing reported about the democrats being obstructionists. It was all hand wringing and whining.

Like it or not, he's keeping his campaign promises and is doing a pretty good job of it. He was by no means my choice, but so far I can't really think of anything that I disagree with.

You a Russian too, huh?

The liberal crack wagon is spinning out of control!

Fake news.

Fake scientists here flailing about.

The entire world is laughing at the liberals, as they rightly should.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

This is what happens when you don't really understand anything outside of business.

Listen carefully to his messaging. He never says anything of substance. You can read his narrative like a script:

Fake news/lying media

Electoral votes

Tremendous

Going to bring your jobs back

Going to remove regulations. No specifics on which ones. Just they are getting removed

Going to repeal Obamacare. No specifics on what it's going to be replaced with.

Going to cut your taxes and your taxes and their taxes and their taxes. No specifics.

Tremendous.

Hillary.

He might as well be selling Peter Popoffs miracle water.

But they are actually writing up legislation... if there was nothing happening then you have a point.  But they are actually doing things... so

Whether you like him or hate him, one thing is certain.  You're watching.  The ratings back that up.

And this is my problem with Donald.  He's still obsessed with his ratings, and not actually running the country.

I'm always interested in what the president has to say, except when he goes full rap star and starts talking about how billy bad [BLEEP] he is.  It was a hell of a lot easier to read the presser than watch it.  The guy reminds me of a birth-privileged version of TMD (someone always concerned with the attention he was getting, yes?).

Look, he's a disgusting, rude, narcissistic pathological liar, not just a con man but the greatest of our generation.  There was some actual substance buried deep in the 90 minute press conference, but with Donald, it's 60% about Donald.  You don't have to be Gloria Steinem to think there's something wrong with him - you can be George Will or John McCain, or the 55% of the American public that didn't vote for him.  And I stand with McCain.

I'm still trying to figure out what the mess is he inherited. Obama inherited a disaster...what Trump inherited was like a nice rental home where the owners simply forgot to take the trash out. Nothing like the disaster he claims it is.

You want to bring back jobs? Create new sustainable jobs. Sorry robots aren't going anywhere and natural gas and other energy sources are cheaper than coal. Clean coal is a misnomer, and extremely expensive. Invest in infrastructure jobs.

Want to fix Obamacare? Fix the parts that aren't effective. Don't scrap all of it.

Want to fix our immigration issues...develop a path to citizenship plan.

Want to drain the swamp and end corruption. Get money out of Washington.

There are 11 Asians in the House 11/538= 2%

Quote:But it's cool when Obama jokes about using Predator Drones on boys who are interested in his daughters from a podium? Coming off the criticism of when drones were used in Yemen which killed a family and friends on their way to a wedding? Pot meet kettle.

Whataboutism helps nothing and no one but is all the defense people can muster up for this mentally ill moron.

Being misled and lied to is good for ratings. It's now celebrated by the right. Calling everything you disagree with as fake is pure projection. The question is does the right know it's projection or are they just touched.

In all seriousness, you have posted a lot of opinions that I disagree with.  I can strongly disagree with something and still respect the fact that it is an opinion worthy of consideration.  This kind of blanket, holier than though, insult is beneath even you.  If you have something that you disagree with then state your case.  IF you have an opinion about something then feel free to start a thread and express it.  just calling a group of people you disagree with stupid is childish and not worthy of the level of discourse on this forum.

In short...  U mad bro?  #304
