Can We All Agree?
|
Quote:1,2,3,5 are completely irrelevant. I was thinking of reasons we should not trade for a QB. Did I confuse you? Obviously there is no reason for a team to trade up in the first round for a QB. It would make sense in later rounds if a team thinks it can get the next Dak Prescott. For example the Bears would be stupid to pick a QB at #3, so a team may want to trade with us thinking they will go that direction at #36. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:I agree. Which is why the whole "trade down with someone who wants our spot to draft a qb" makes no sense Makes no sense to you** Also it's not just about a QB. I used QB as an example. You also never know who teams fall in love with. Bills moved up from 9 to 4 to take Watkins. Makes no sense....cmon man...
Shock the world
Quote:I just wanted to have a conversation about a potential trade down opportunity and your thoughts and all I really get is insults and sarcastic responses. Whatever guys, never change. You're too sensitive. Of course we'd all like to trade down if we got the right deal. Any trade, up or down, has to be worth it. The trouble is, teams want to trade down a lot more often than they want to trade up. I'm sure after the draft people will complain that we didn't trade down, but none of us will know what deals were offered. I don't see any scenario where teams would want to trade up to our spot.
Quote:Lol so stupid. You're incredible. You complain about getting insults and sarcastic remarks, but you don't mind dishing them out, do you?
Quote:Makes no sense to you** It makes no sense to anybody. You singled out QBs. As for your example here, the Browns were idiots to make that trade because Josh Gordon had just been suspended one year for failing another drug test. No way would I consider trading the #4 pick if I was Cleveland that year. Also remember this: teams looking for QBs don't need to jump over Tennessee. They would rather trade with the Titans to leapfrog the Jets. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:You complain about getting insults and sarcastic remarks, but you don't mind dishing them out, do you? Ok so you're clearly immature and want to start a message board fight. Why else would you respond to this? I'm thinking you like MissJagsFan? Let it out man..tell the world how you feel about her! Clown.
Shock the world
Quote:You're too sensitive. Ok that's your opinion. You don't see a scenario and I do. Now what happens? I wanted to just have a convo and you come in here all big bad and tough thinking you actually know what's going down. No matter what you say, I'm not responding to you. Not responding to your girlfriend either. Both of you can go try and read a kids book. I'll respond to others who make sense and just want to talk about it. Happy Saturday you clown.

I have no idea who San Fran is going to take, can't take Allen because they've drafted 2 DL in the high first the last 2 years and they play Allens position. I have to think it's a QB or Latimore

Quote:Many would say "no."Agree, Elliot is nice, but he is a luxury they didn't need. Went from 4.6 ypc to 4.8. Wasn't worth it. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking.

If that is the case, they have an abundance of interior d-lineman and not enough quality edge pass rushers. They could either try to get Allen to slim down a little and try him as a 4-3 DE or I could see them also drafting Solomon Thomas as a 4-3 DE with their first round pick. I do not see them using the #2 pick on a QB at all.
The Lattimore at 2 mocks I've seen lately make sense. He's really damn good.

Let it out man..tell the world how you feel about her! Hey, look. It's just a message board. You type a thought into your computer, and your computer answers back. Insult me all you want. I don't care. I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy. You complained about people insulting you, and then you turned right around and insulted someone else. Is this not true?
Quote:Start all over? No, but we are definitely still in rebuild mode. No more so than other teams are rebuilding. Quote:Would you consider him a better prospect than Ramsey? As a pure cover guy, yeah pretty comfortably...perhaps the best since Revis they say. Ramsey still has plenty work to do in technique, but he has the length, athleticism, and physicality advantage on darn near anyone. It would be a terrifying tandem if we had the stones to take him. Talk about a team devoid of talent. They need as many picks as possible. QB talk and projections will start to heat up soon once the combine and workouts happen.

Waiting until the second round would make more sense. |
