It's what he has found as purposeful in his life.

I would argue that Babich actually impressed me somewhat.  With the lack of talent we have, our sack total increased by 50% under him.  I've seen development from Andre Branch and I like the way Cyprien is being used.

Take shots at me all you want. Don't bother me or discredit my arguments.

The football points I made stand and are salient.

I definitely feel like Babich has a much better feel for the game and the necessary adjustments than what Tucker did. Tucker's Defense really put the onus on the players to make a right read, in my mind. Either that, or he simply didn't have the ability to make corrections in the middle of the game. I was very happy when I saw our Defense adjust and stop a team from doing whatever it was that was hurting us, even though that was rather infrequent.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I'd credit the DL coach more so than Babich for the individual DL improvements/ development. I'll give Babich some praise for it, but not the Lion's share. Same with the DB coach & Cyprien's development.

Babich presided over a defense and a scheme that was unable to hold any decent offense on a good team in check. 450 points scored against is almost 30 per game given up. Considering that pretty much the entire 2nd half of the schedule was pretty weak, it makes that number even more disappointing, unimpressive. Yes, even with our roster.

And really it is Bradley's defense. It makes sense to have a Babich/Wash under you who buy into the same scheme. It's why Mike Smith worked with Del Rio but Gregg Williams did not.

Uhm, the people actually in the press conference brought up/ mentioned the Coordinators. I gave my opinion on what they said.

How exactly was the thread hi-jacked? Answer: it wasn't, but you merely don't have an argument against my posting in this thread so you fabricate.

Of course you'll credit the DL and the DB coach.  How convenient.

my argument is this:

Marcedes Lewis is a good overall TE.  Yes, he's overpaid.  I think it would be unwise to get rid of him and create another massive hole on this team when we already have a lot of other needs to fill.  He's overpaid but we are WELL under the cap, so him being on this team isn't limiting us in what we can do in free agency.

The Coordinators are kind of like Gus Bradley.  We can't judge them just yet.  I firmly believe the primary impairment for success is our lack of talent.  Our coordinators and coaches have developed young guys (Branch, Pasztor etc) where that hasn't happened in years previously.  This is one of the first time in years where we've had at least somewhat of a pass rush through parts of the year.  That alone is huge improvement.   I'm not claiming they did a great job, I'm saying that they did an OK job given the guys they had to work with.

Oh yeah. Having a staff that has the same philosophy as you do is critical. Here's to hoping that the staff under Bradley "develop" so that as coordinators and position coaches move up they have their replacements already on the shelf so to speak.

Del Rio didn't even have a "scheme". His defense was about as vanilla as it got.

You could put a pair of headsets on 2 rocks and get the same kind of input for what that defense was doing under Del Rio/ Smith. Its why once the defensive talent declined Del Rio had zero answers. WHen you don't have the "personnel" its up to the defensive staff/ Coordinator to try and scheme to try and create pressure through blitzes and disguising coverages and stuff. Del Rio / Smith rarely changed anything out of the base, vanilla, Tampa 2 scheme, and were consistently getting zero pressure on opposing QB who would nickel and dime us to death. You don't just sit there with a headset and essentially say "aw shucks" and continue using the same base crap thats not working because the personnel ain't there.

Uhmm......player development is their main job, so yes, the DL & DB coaches would get more of the praise in the instances you brought up. I didn't leave Babich totally out of some praise in those instances, though. So, relax.

first 8 games we were outscored on average 33-11 ...0wins, 8loss

last 8 games we were outscored on average 23-20... 4wins, 4loss

A big part of that was the opposition we faced.  It is also clear improvement.  For a historically bad team early on that preaced "improvement"... they have shown improvement.  At least enough to keep their jobs IMO (the coordinators).

Oh, so Babich is what the only guy on earth that is compatible with Bradley's scheme?? lol, c'mon now....I hope this isn't what you are trying to sell.
