I am told #Bears Jeffery is looking for $14 million per. Not sure that will be out there. And there are definitely investment concerns.

Theme among #NFL teams: big money out there to be spent and annual rising free agent sticker shock will continue with these cap increases.

Got the sense #Patriots believe someone is going to make RB LeGarrette Blount an offer they won't match. I believe they're prepping for it.

Also believe #Panthers are going to be bargain hunting on the offensive line in free agency and address the secondary meaningfully as well.

If someone makes a solid offer to #Eagles for backup QB Chase Daniel, I believe they're open to dealing him. Same for WR Jordan Matthews.

If they don't sign an OG, I'll pitch in to buy the rocket.

hopefully the bears are stupid enough to pay glennon 15mil

Their owners are pushing for decreasing the coverage for retired players, let em rot in their own terribleness as long as possible

I'd rather see the Bears spend a #1 draft pick on a QB

Multiple #NFL sources are expecting the free agent contract of #Bengals guard Kevin Zeitler to land between $10-$12 million per season.

About where I expected. I'd pay him that.

There is so much cap space for many teams....the good free agents will be grossly overpaid for their services.

#71

If we walk away Thursday/Friday with a top G and a CB, I'll be happy with FA no matter who else we sign.

And it's going up again next year as well. I'm not too concerned. Hell we could spend ALL of our money Thursday and still end up with 20 million in space when we'd have to consider extending Blake or not.

Caldwell mentioned they would like to "use free agency to fill some holes"...there are a lot of holes to fill. C'mon Tuesday, get here.

Same here.

To be honest I'm not expecting much, there may be too much competition this year (and from teams that would have much appeal than us, see last year with Vernon), I hope I'll end up being surprised.

If we get one of the G and one of the CB I'll be really happy as well but it won't be easy.

I believe he mentioned the numbers 2-3 as well

I want an OG and a Safety. This draft is tremendously deep at CB. There will be guys who would be borderline 1st rounders and solid second rounders in other years, who could go as low as round 4 in this draft. Even if we did sign a FA CB like Gilmore, I'd still draft a CB in the first 3 rounds. There's just too many really good cover guys to pass on that position.

I'd be cool with that too. But from my understanding, Safety is pretty deep this year as well. Maybe I should say G and DB

There is very good quality at the top of the draft, regarding Safety, but the quality falls off sharply after the first 5 guys and they will all likely be gone by round 3.
