Obama Administration Wiretapped Trump Campaign?

Hey man. We have been asking for evidence of Russian interference for five months and haven't been given a single shred. At least give us the same timeframe.

Precisely.  Yet that's "news..."

You'd think that all the supposedly intelligent and informed people would have found something, anything, by now.

Quote:The government wiretapped the Trump campaign. This is fact.

EXCLUSIVE: FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties To Russia

Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.

Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates

American law enforcement and intelligence agencies are examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump, including his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, current and former senior American officials said.

Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia

For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.

----------------

This was all based on the wiretapping of the Trump campaign. Trump servers. Trump phone-calls.

The big media freakout is that Trump is accusing Progressive Savior and MSM Hero Barack Hussein Obama of approving the wiretap.

You are going to tell me Obama didn't approve this? He wasn't even aware of it? Is he really that worthless of a president that he lets his administration go completely banana republic without his knowledge?

So what you're saying is that when the FBI investigated the Russian hack of the 2016 US election, the trail included Trump Tower.

The FBI wiretapped the Russians, and that of course, includes the Trump machine by proxy.

OK, I'll buy that.

Obama or his administration used a totally bogus claim (that was originally rejected) to FISA wiretap a political opponent. The results of that wiretapping were spread through every intel agency by an EO signed by Obama leaving the WH. The recent leaks are a result of that spying and spreading.

Glad you are finally understanding.

Quote:The more important question is which Democrat is going to take the fall for initiating the wiretapping of the Trump campaign.

Funny to see the media/libs flip the script, completely drop the "muh Russia" smear in a single day since it is now obvious to even them there is zero evidence, and fall back on "HES CRAZY!".

I am guessing Loretta Lynch will take the fall. Will be fun seeing Obama testify in court though.

Will you please hush with your baseless conspiracy theories?

Comey says there was no Wiretapping.

So who are these anonymous "American Officials" and "Law Enforcement Officials" reporting on Comey's behalf? Will we get an official statement from him or the FBI?

Also, according to the article they are referencing from the NYT, the anonymous officials say Comey is rejecting that it was the FBI performed an illegal wiretap.

From the NYT article, according to the anonymous "American Officials":

"Mr. Comey, who made the request on Saturday after Mr. Trump leveled his allegation on Twitter, has been working to get the Justice Department to knock down the claim because it falsely insinuates that the F.B.I. broke the law, the officials said."

No denial of wiretapping. Did Trump even insinuate it was the FBI? Weird for him to come out like this, if these anonymous sources are legit.

Breitbart helping make Trump look stupid. Again.

I hope Bannon never leaves. Who'll provide the unintentional comedy?

And the "sources" being used by the Trumpettes are the true definition of Fake News.

You just can't make this stuff up. Trump said he could stand in Fifth Avenue and shot someone and not lose a vote. This is the "news" equivalent. Who needs proof? You just have to want to believe.

You do recognize the difference between Comey denying ANY wiretaps, and asking for a denial that the FBI tapped the Trump phones, right?

Where has it ever been alleged that it was the FBI?

What we do know is that the Obama administration did indeed submit two requests to put the Trump campaign under surveillance.  Once in June of 2016, and again in October.  It's kind of difficult to deny that the wiretapping took place based simply on the leaks that have come out about conversations Trump and his minions have had that could only have been discovered based on wiretaps.

This article covers it pretty concisely, and Andrew McCarthy is a former Federal Prosecutor.

...and so much for the Trump/Russia connection.  The Obama Admin tapped both Trump and the Russians and found NOTHING.  If there was any proof of collusion with Russia, it would have been painted across the sky.

The only pathetic thing is you. You'll believe anything Chump tweets at 7am on a Saturday. It doesn't matter how ludicrous, unsubstantiated, or flat out false his statements are. Like a dog you're ready with tongue out drenched in saliva, and a long, warm smile....ready to do anything to please your master. It's disgusting, gross, and shows just how doomed this country is to have elected such a buffoon.

I believe what can be substantiated.  You believe what is alleged sight unseen as long as it suits your agenda and allows you to soil yourself a little more.  No matter how desperately you try to convince us that you're an educated "scientist", the evidence points to the contrary. You've got the analytical skills of a bowl of jello.

Then substantiate the wiretaps fool.

Trump lies so far:

That 3-4 million people voted illegally

That over 1 million people showed up at his inaugural address

Biggest electoral win since Reagan.

94 million people out of labor force

Ted Cruz was involved in JFK assasination

That he was always opposed against the war in Iraq

Kind of looking forward to this substation.

Quote:There was no evidence found of any Russian involvement. No one but the far-left believed there would be. The wiretaps happened for three reason: to find "dirt" on Trump, leak it, and hurt his chances in the election. They found nothing, as expected. This wasn't done in the name of national security. It was done to gain a political advantage in the election. After they found nothing and the wiretap grants were expired, they CONTINUED to spy on him even after the election.

No one, especially the Obama coalition, expected Trump to win. As a last gasp effort, Obama opened up all intelligence to the 16 agencies in hopes of leaking information that could slow down Trump. Trump now has full insight into the malicious acts directed by the President, and it is going to get ugly. Could Obama be the first president to be jailed?

Absolutely! Throw him in and let him rot. He is the single most corrupt president in U.S. history.
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

That's not what he said at all.

He wants the Justice Department to publicly deny the allegations.  Big difference.
